Another nice one. It is a kind of funny though when you mentioned the stringbeans. For the Surinamese people in The Netherlands it is a must to use 'Kouseband' otherwise they like to talk with you for a while, and believe that is not something you want (and gonna lose) LOL I'm pretty sure that your mother knows what I'm talking about. Another thing is chicken, don't ever try to discus with them about washing chicken with vinegar and rinse it of with water (that is the old fashioned way, because of hygiene). It is almost blasphemy if you don't.
Yes, very familiar with Kouseband! It can be a little difficult to find here. I'm trying to grow it in my garden this year :-) And yes about washing the chicken - it's a MUST! LOL
