That is looking delicious. I love the Surinamese kitchen. Living in the Netherlands it is pretty easy to obtain the ingredients, and I just wondering how easy (or difficult) it is in the USA. Perhaps roti with chicken massala might not be that of a problem, but 'bbr' (brown beans with rice) might be another story. Are you using pinto beans instead? Greetings from The Netherlands

Thank you for watching and commenting! Some of the ingredients are a little hard to find here in the US, but I try to get the closest thing I can find. It usually works out fine. I use red kidney beans for BBR. Soooo delish! Maybe I'll make a video. Thank you!

@@cookprayslay7791 I can imagine that, because the Surinamese kitchen uses a lot of different spices and exotic things (garam masala or madam Jeannet peppers for example). Over here it is a bit different because there are more people with a Surinamese heritage than inhabitants
in Suriname itself :) And some things are just so common and people might even think that they are dutch, but they aren't. A good example is the brown beans. Perhaps the dish might be dutch, but those brown beans are original from South America :) But if you make a video about BBR I will send a link to all my friends in the USA, because they need some education when it comes to real food LOL
