Once she gets the same attention in the US as Angelina does ,she will be HUGE . Amira isn,t just a STUNNING SUPER SOPRANO and VOCALIST. She is a TRUE OUT OF THIS WORLD SOUL MESSENGER who is touching many many souls around the world . However i do agree with you, classical music is getting less attention then other music styles. O btw, Angelina is one of my ( i am a rock, symphonic metal and reggae fan) TRIPPEL AAA TOP ARTISTS. The other two are of course Amira Willighagen and Alma Deutcher..
I personally think Angelina is very overrated there are for my money much better young singers out there like; Connie Talbot, Putri Ariani, Jackie Evancho and of course Amira but for me the absolute best has to be Lucy Thomas.

Yes.... this is something. I follow Amira for about 5 years now and in fact there is very much similarity with Angelina Jordan and Lucy Thomas (which I also follow on TH-cam/Facebook) as far as their progression as an artist till now goes. Three respected singers, now 17 (Angelina) -19 years (Amira and Lucy) of age and they are really at the top, each in their own genre. And they all have been living a bit 'under the radar' so far because of their age: doing some awesome music but in a way that they also could have a normal youth, most of the time. I think that is so, so good. Yes, we all would love more of that top-level music, but it is so good that 'child is 1, school is 2 and music is 3' is the way they all are following.

It's been too long! Might I suggest Gesu Bambino, which Amira put out earlier this year. You won't feel under dressed, as she sang it in her local church with her coat on, and her dad backing her up on the organ. It is a tour de force. She was 13 when she sang this performance of Your Love, she's 19 now.

And if you like Spaghetti Western movies and the music from Ennio Morricone I highly recommend to take a look at the Danish National Symphony Orchestra (e.g. The Good the Bad and the Ugly, Once upon a Time in the West but also The Godfather).

Amira sings classical/opera which doesn't get much exposure as popular music hence why people talks about Angelina.
