  • Have you ever hosted a crawfish boil? This was my first. Thank God for people who know what they are doing! My friend Jonathan showed up and we tested his steel. The results of his method were world class. One thing I learned in this cook, is that timing is everything. Try to wing it and you will be that person with the bad crawfish.     pro tip: save and freeze some of the left over boil liquid to use to cool down the next boil instead of plain ice or frozen corn

      A cap definitely did not make a huge difference. I was going off of the instructions though. There was also still what was left from the 5 lbs of seasoning. I would hate to ruin some crawfish. Next time I’ll be a little more heavy handed

    Wish we could get live crawfish up here in western Canada. We have one restaurant that sells them ready cooked but they cost a fortune.
