i used to think nascar wasnt a sport, but was fortunate enough to be taken for about 20 laps in one, and even as a passenger in a modified 2 seater by itself on the track, the torque thrust, the noise, the heat, the speed at which the wall flies by, its incredible. you can feel the car wanting to just lose control sometimes in the turns. Doing that for 5 hours in the daytona heat, with other racers bumper to bumper and no power steering etc. s'sport, ya know.
