  • Ported and polished my 350z throttle body. More horsepower for free. After porting and polishing, i can feel a difference in the throttle response and the feel of the car in the high end rpm range.

    That polish job you did was sweet, super smooth and mirror grade. After all that work and it didn’t improve, I would’ve snapped. Really like to see the full process, but I understand about helping other people with things! Please do one where you do the whole thing because that job you did on yours looks great!👍🏻

    Man. I’ve done a lot of porting, polishing, and fab. Excellent job. That’s the standard right there. It makes a huge impact if you take it to a mirror finish. Excellent quality bro.

    It's fuel injection, so the porting should help. But on carburetor systems the surface roughness on the intake manifold after the carb fuel jetting actually aids atomization .

    Good video. I was just shopping for a new throttle body but never thought about porting the one I have before spending a bunch of money. Thanks you for the idea. Your car sounds great with the ported TB!

    Wow, amazing finish on the TB. You might think about replacing that new bolt. Being a different size, it’s spoiling the air going in. I’m going to try this, thanks for the bro tip.

  • @MrDonSnow
    @MrDonSnow 4 ปีที่แล้ว +8

    Your process is good but the butterfly valve is the same size. To really increase the airflow you need to bore the TBI and install a larger air intake valve.

    I just wish people would show how far to go into the throttle body. I know you aren't suppose to go up to where the blade rests so it will still retain its correct position.

    You have get some NWP intake spacers. Get the 5 pcs kit not the 3pcss kit. Trust me it works. I did the port and polishing on my lower, upper, elbow, and the throttle body. Felt good in the midrange. Looks like you either have the G35 or 350z.
