Nice work I live in hemlock Michigan which is the outskirts of Saginaw there is a new hobby store it's in showcase guns they don't advertise a bunch but it's there I picked up the proline F100 year 66 and the super swamper tires 2.8 for two-wheel drive stampede if my paint job comes out 1/4 as good as yours I will be happy it will be the second one I've attempted to paint I use the Traxxas paint so far so good I hope the super swampers don't balloon too much for you but they are an amazing-looking tire ps that's a nice looking truck

You are correct. I did a few test runs already with 6s and it ihas stupid power. 3 and 4s is definitely more manageable. Most of the builds i do are way over the top. I love doing builds out side the box. Something alittle differsnt besides the norm. Thanks bro.
Ok how did it run ? I’m building a similar truck , platinum base , mamba monster 2 2650kv motor . I just got the mamba monster x with the 2200kv motor . I have the Traxxas cvd’s . Savox servo . I have grp 17mm tires . I’m running 2 3s powerhobby Lipo packs in series. You have a gorgeous truck . I love it .

Thanks my friend. Spend the extra money and go with 4x4. The handling is 30000% better then 2wd lol, You wanna get the Slash 4x4 with the LCG chassis. The one in this video is not a LCG. There is so much you can do with a Slash 4x4. You can put 1/8 scale wheels and body if you want to do speedruns, dragracing or just messin around in a parking lot. Good luck. WOW love all the upgrades and it seems like these trucks are only as strong as the weakest link..lol, so upgrades are a must!!...but I'm curious did you upgrade the slipper clutch and diff's as well? I have the same truck and I ran these same heavy tires on mind and in no time I snapped a diff sun gear that attaches to the MIP half shafts I'm using as well..anyway just wondering what you did in that area and thanks for sharing..
Thank You my friend, I did Eliminate the slipper clutch and added mod 1 hard steel spur gear . Have not had a problem with diffs yet. Tie rods bending in a crash was the biggest issue. Using stock traxxas slash 4x4 tie rods. Seem to be the strongest.
Looks great! It hurts a little knowing it will get all dirty once you take it out for a drive. I just got into this hobby with the Rustler 4x4, and looking forward to modding it. It's apparently very similar to the slash.

I'm not much of a Traxxas guy but I did have many T Maxes in the past and i still have a Revo3.3 and a Rustler with a RB MOD 3.7. I'm more of a LOSI or a TEAM ASSOCIATED guy. But can I use a platform like this with a NITRO motor? Is the NITRO SLAYER like this? I just don't do electrics and I have many Big Block Engines that I could use or I could even throw on a very torquey NITRO helicopter motor on that thing? I just want something that I could use a CHEVY Body like that ! Can you make a video with the 2 CHEVY Bodies you did? Just to show how different they are from one another and to compare the size difference from them . Thanks and keep up the good work!
+BOTAJELL I think the Slayer pro 3.3 is a little bigger then e Slash. The first slayer that came out is the same size as e slash I think. Most likely wont be doing a nitro video. Sorry just not into nitros at this time.

I did almost the same thing to my Slash 4x4 vxl, except I put a Rustlers 4x4 vxl tire set on and installed adjustable body mounts.

I prefer a smaller sleeker look on my slash 4x4 but that is definitely a cool truck
Sweet. I built a similar RC last year. Belt those tires and it will hold up to 6s.
+etab83 I did belt them bad boys. I used cloth surgical tape. alot thinner and just as strong as duct tape. I use it when ever I belt any rc tires.
