The 90s were so cool man. Anybody and everybody could get on television at the time if you were a rock band it seemed. And cool bands like this sprouted from it. You can tell 93-94 was a real golden era for the boys in the sense that they were heavily blasted onto television and talk shows to perform. Feel like they probably just never took off to a HIGH degree because of the way most people are with music. They hear a song like Voodoo Lady.. or Freedom of 76... then bought the record.. and NOTHING else on the record sounded that way. Sadly great bands like Ween dont get taken seriously by everybody because of the way they make such diverse records... let alone the fact even one record can sound so different track to track. But man they still kicked out the jams for many years and still do today. And built a solid fanbase while doing it of people who do appreciate what they do. Shame they arent appreciated by more. Especially during 2003 - 2004 when they were at their absolute peak as a band live and on record. But I guess us Weener lovers get to have this thing thats special.. that we can all appreciate... and listen to some great music... since radio and television doesnt know what that is anymore.
"I chose this because it's the worst thing I've ever seen."
"now, punk rock girls are amazing: purple hair, leather, all that stuff. i love a punk rock girl"

"We're Ween for Christ's Sake."

Goddamn, I love how relatable Deaner is. It makes me think under better circumstances I could be the 2nd brownest songwriter of all time.
