This is what they do. They feel that since they paid for a meal, you now need to "pay" them back. I recently got dumped by an old man.
I was actually glad about it!
It saved me from getting rid of him.
I had told him we are just friends but he persisted in giving me the hint about sexual things.
He had taken me out to dinner a few times and helped me one time with a car repair.
As time went on he must have been fed up with me not going into his bedroom with him.
He had been missing his late wife so I was happy to give him some company.

We ended up having a talk about why and he apologized but not even a month later started with the BS again. Once blocked, blocked forever. Lesson learned people don’t change. When he did apologize he admitted that he said mean and nasty things to me because every one tells me I’m pretty and he was on purpose trying to bring me down. Anyways it’s very creepy and pathetic. I guess the next step would be reporting him for harassment if he ever bothers me again.

Talking from experience..I dated a sociopath for 5 yrs. After a yr everything started to fall apart and I too believed he was cheating but didn't have evidence so I felt like I didn't have the right to blame him or complain. After I found out abt all the lies and his cheating I realized this. If something changes out of no where, that is all the evidence you need. Cheating or not, you do not need to be with someone who is hot and cold because that means that they are emotionally pulling away from you but they don't want to completely discard you because they want to keep you on the back burner in case the person they really want rejects them.

I went out with this guy for a period which I can recall he took me to dinner once and even then I felt like I could only order a salad. Any other time he went through a drive thru with me in the car, he never asked if I wanted anything but would say you don't want anything do you... I was aggravated with that statement... I don't care if he got me anything but at least ask the right way. Once we went to Cracker Barrel and he ordered a piece of cake and 2 forks.. I was so embarassed. I asked the server for water. She rolled her eyes at him. I think she was thinking what a loser. When he started talking about wanting sex with older women and I am talking senior citizen age. He said they know things. He came from low level people and I didn’t know them before married him. His Dad was a womanizer all his life and his mom was a drunk. She had passed away I never met her but heard plenty about her after I met the other family members. His dad was in his late 60’s and still sleeping around with the town prostitutes😩! I was shocked at this little hole in the wall Southern town he was from. Everybody had slept with everyone throughout their lives and nearly everyone was related because if that😫!!

When I married this man he had a good job an ex marine who had served in Viet Nam war. This was a toxic marriage from the get go but I labored the whole 42 years to bring him and his children I raised up to my level of standards. Boy did I pay the price for that😤😪!
