  • The wait is finally over ― The Dinosaur Museum is BACK! 🦖
Welcome to Dinosaur Kingdom Fukui, where the vast majority of dinosaur fossils found in Japan were discovered
On July 14, 2023, the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum ―one of the largest three in the whole world― came back bigger, better and more fun than ever!
So, let us take you today on a private tour of the new & improved dinosaur museum 🦕
⚠️ A reservation is required to enter the museum
    Details at www.dinosaur.p... (in English)
*The Museum seems to have updated its policy since, and you should be able to buy a ticket once you're there. To make sure everything goes smoothly, we would still advise calling/email the musem before going, especially if you are planning to visit on a national holiday or any day where reservations might be full.

Can I ask or do you know? I plan to visit the Museum during the end of February 2024. And I saw in another video that she is visited the museum during the summer of 2023 purchased a bundle ticket for 2,130 (which included a round-trip train from Fukui to Katsuyama, a bus, and a museum ticket). Is that package ticket still available at Fukui Station?
Anyway thank you for the video.

You should still be able to buy a bundle ticket for the museum, although the price might have changed since.
For details, please contact Echizen Railway.

I checked the website and there's no mentioning about reservation at all, do we really need to reserve a ticket and not just show up and buy the ticket on the spot?

We'll update the video description to reflect that change.

Have a great time at the museum!

@@experience_fukui4578 Hi, upon more checking turns out the reservation only available from the japanese website version and it is still highly recommended. It is in japanese but it should not be too hard (I successfuly book only by using google translate). Just a reference for future readers 👍
