I agree ! The only things Id also wish they’d change is that darn keyless ignition, I also left mine on once but not long enough to drain the battery. The exhaust heat is not that bad for me. I don’t squeeze that area with my leg. If you would press your leg on the pipe and keep it there it will get fairly hot. Just a great machine 👍 keep riding and dropping those pounds then might need to readjust your suspension !
Leaving the ignition on has caught me out a few times, thankfully not long enough to drain the battery. I’m in a hot country, Australia, and having just gone through summer here, funnily enough,I notice more heat from the left hand side of the engine, no heat shields. Mines a 22 model, so the cat is in the mufflers.
I bought a Clarke portable jump start pack for this reason small and light and it can change your devices as well well worth the money at approximately 55 quid
I know what you mean about the flyscreen. I put a very small fairing on my MT01, just goes over the headlight, and it took the wind blast off my chest completely and sent the wind up to the top of my crash helmet. Interesting the issues with the keyless ignition .... Probably due to rider age and being so used to the "old ways"LOL!
Keeper? Never! Tell me that on the 10th March 2024.😂 Never had a problem with keyless on my RT but I'll make a note of that. Think when you press the button to turn it off, everything's off apart from the alarm /immobiliser
I put some tank huggers on mine. It absolutely changed the ergonomics. Makes it waaay nicer on high speed corners.
I have the xe in green and white. It's perfect. I even got used to the ignition and am glad it came with an immobilizer
What a beautiful bike!
Thanks buddy 👍

Cheers Brian! 👍 Yes I actually was thinking about adjusting the suspension... I've not attempted it yet!
