how nice to see children reading and playing outside instead of sitting in front of a TV or playing video games. Good job mom!!!!

My nephew (a 23yo) spent 4 days glued to his phone playing games whilst he was boarding at my place.
When I asked him what he enjoyed reading he says he doesn't read, he "learns visually" - but then when he wasn't playing games he was watching TH-cam videos of people playing games 🙄
Also didn't eat anything home-cooked - and no vegetables whatsoever - didn't say please or thank you once in the 4 days and flooded my bathroom without even attempting to clean up the water.
I was absolutely livid, especially considering that his parents (my brother, and his wife) are pretty trad.
      Truly disappointing!

I would like to add... keep looking at videos like these for more information and inspiration. Longing to be a traditional woman will bring envy and anger in others around you, they will judge you. Stand your ground and keep your traditional values close to your heart. When you meet a Godly husband and have your own children I promise you you will not regret it. And endless amount of love from your own family.

I love this. I am an old fart in my 50s now, but when I was a kid, music study was required in my family. Every kid took 2 years of piano lessons, and then at least 2 more years on their instrument of choice. We also were required to study a foreign language until we became conversational in said language.

Thank you for the insights. I find this all very interesting. So do you have to get permission to be able to do anything outside of the house? Like going shopping or out with friends without your husband? You said that you didn't have shopping because you couldn't get a delivery I wondered why you don't just take the children to the supermarket and get the shopping surely that's allowed like most families, even during the pandemic. Or do you do shopping when your husband gets home. Or does he take charge of that?

    • @user-yr5er5uz5k

@@user-yr5er5uz5k I don't understand the comment regarding indoor shopping. Every supermarket has been open throughout the whole pandemic in the UK. vulnerable people were struggling to get the delivery slots. So those who weren't vulnerable were urged to not take the slots out of kindness and compassion for those who needed them.

The kids have so many friends and the ability to truly socialise more than in school where they’re told to “sit down and be quiet”. We learn with other families together twice a week and the children get to play a lot! We homeschool because it’s a higher quality education: classical education, and because I really enjoy my kids and teaching them important life skills.

That is very nice. However, have you ever stopped to question wether or not this "lifestyle" was right on the long term? What is your husband leaves you, or what if he dies? You're being dependent on someone else and sure it might be nice, but you're loosing yourself as a free and independent individual, hell, you're loosing yourself as a whole and complete woman.
What's more I really doubt this is truly fulfilling. Here's a fun fact: in France there was an important reduction of antidepressant consumption after women gained economical independence. Truth is women are happier outside of their homes than inside, and, even more importantly, have a lot more freedom then.
That being said, if you really want to make your own existence dependent on a man and forget yourself in this search for stability, so be it. But as Nietzsche said it, there is nothing weaker than humanity's constant search for constance and stability, and it is to this end that humans will forget their freedom, as a way to give in to the appeal of weakness and laziness.

    • @Vic2point0
      @Vic2point0 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Every lifestyle choice has risks, and you have to make sure you're comparing apples to apples here. Tradwives and their husbands tend to think very differently about marriage, children, and life in general (than other men and women) which affects the likelihood of abandonment, abuse, and yes even accidental deaths because traditional men have more incentive to take fewer unnecessary risks. You have to factor in this notion that you have *moral* obligations and duties as it pertains to your family, and many of them believe in a god that will hold them accountable if they fail.
But it would be a good idea for tradwives to not literally just stay home all the time. Luckily, many of them still get out and enjoy things like going to the store with or without friends or other activities that don't get in the way of being a tradwife. They can also homeschool which is challenging work but can be very fulfilling as opposed to doing the bidding of a soulless corporation somewhere.

Where does one find a husband that makes enough to support an entire family by himself. Our economy is so bad, many people can’t make enough to support a whole family on their own and the wife has no choice but to work.

I feel like you’re looking more for the idea of a tradwife so basically woman with conservative values and as one I’d have to say you definitely won’t find one on tinder don’t judge a book by it’s cover If a girl is wearing shorts and talk top or has some cleavage she still can be traditional deep down it’s kinda just luck of the draw

@@brachiosaurus6350 no, I'm looking for more than just the idea of a Trad wife. I'd highly appreciate a actual trad wife, not just a woman with conservative values. I've seen enough women with conservative values who do things and carry themselves in ways that are non conservative to know that that's not what I want. As for the cleavage, nah, I'd highly appreciate it if she covers that up. That's not traditional. I've seen plenty "conservatives" who are not traditional women and those are not the women I'm looking for. There is no "well she can be traditional deep down inside" in some hidden place in her heart...either she is traditional, and carries herself as such, or she isn't. You can be a modern women, with a few trad qualities, but that doesn't necessarily mean you're trad. Not you specifically, but in general. I do agree however, finding these women, especially in today's western modernized, feminist society, is extremely hard.

@@cade_blade6126 You'd be surprised. I have a friend who lived in New York with 60k a year. Meanwhile, I lived all over the Southeast US and made between 85k to 95k in my time there. I had enough money to take care of myself and another partner. The issue is that most people don't try and get better jobs. I agree that living is becoming more expensive due to inflation, but your money has to outgrow inflation. It's why I invest about 60% of what I make annually.

@@brachiosaurus6350 I agree with this wholeheartedly. This isn't the 1930s, girls can wear shorts. I can't speak for OP, but I don't think that a woman has to wear some super long dress and an apron to be a traditional wife. It's more about behavior. She and her conventional husband are life partners that own up to what they provide in the relationship.
