In the original, Jeremy Irons actually damaged his vocal chords on the line ‘you won’t get a sniff without me’, and so Jim Cummings (who was already doing the voice of Ed) came in and finished the song. Great reaction btw 👍

Featured guest, Mykal ("Michael") Kilgore was a member of Geoff, Layne, and Earl's quartet that they formed when they were still in high school called '4theLove'. They added beatboxer Scott Porter and changed the name of their group to '4-2-Five' and became more active and well known locally under that name. Mykal Kilgore left to pursue a career on Broadway and Scott Porter left to pursue an acting career in Hollywood (both have been very successful). They regrouped with Eli Jacobson and Tony Wakim and around 2012 changed their name to 'Voice Play'. Recently Voice Play has had two of their covers submitted to be considered for nomination for Grammy awards for 'Best Arrangement Instrumental Or Acapella' so we are hopeful and happy that they are finally getting more recognition despite being completely independent of a record label or contract. The two covers up for Nomination are "The Way You Make Me Feel" and "Hell Fire".

I loved this one. They did such a great job, the beat is fantastic and all the background vocals just elevate it that much more. Geoff could very easily be a Disney Villain with how smooth that bass is. One little correction for you, Jeremy Irons sang the song up until the lyrics 'you won't get a sniff without me!' He blew out his vocal chords screaming it, so they brought in Jim Cummings to finish off the song. Luckily all of the voice acting for the movie had been finished before they recorded the songs.
