You didn't like his acting so far? I mean everyone can see it differently, but Chris acting in this whole show for me is off the charts amazing. I am very picky about that, but Chris acting especially emotinal scenes are amazing. His sassy moments are great too though

I don’t think people realize how short a time frame this actually is. Steven and Jere just graduated from high school it’s finals week at college, Susanna just died a month ago and prom was couple weeks before that. So within a 2 month period of Conrad breaking up with Belly not because he wanted too but because he was overwhelmed with splitting time in Boston with his mom, trying to make time and see Belly and be a good boyfriend and the pressures of Brown which if you didn’t know is an Ivy League school. He had to let something go and it wasn’t going to be his mom. He had to step away from Belly and focus on the little time he had left with his mom and keep up with the pressure of Brown. Jere knows all of this and how little time it’s been and swooped in and took Conrad’s girl. And Belly is rebounding trying to prove to herself she don’t love Conrad and we all know that’s a damn lie.

Although I’m not gonna watch next season, it was too painful in the books…and still can’t relate to Connie’s “struggling” character..i believe the author will also develop Connie to fit better into a hubby/bf material..because these two seasons he was a walking red flag in terms of a relationship.. but as a friend, son and brother he is really cute..even Belly got her development (in a twisted way, but still)..

Yes I know, I read the book too. Even though the story in the series is mostly sticking to the book, they have some differences that makes me feel like we have to look at them as two different story. For example, in the book the Debutante ball never existed. And ( if I remember correctly) Jere in the book doesn’t know how to cook, while in S1 jere cooked breakfast for everyone. In the series S2E6 Skye asks her which of the brothers is a better kisser when they are talking with Taylor before the party. She says "Cam was sweet, with Conrad I basically blacked out I wasn't there, and with Jeremiah is was really, really really hot" I’m team Conrad (in both series and books) but from the series right now (S2) you can tell that Jere is a better kisser

Jeremiah handled all of it so much better. Conrad in every situation pushed Belly away even when they were in a relationship. Your not supppose to treat other people like that if your friends or otherwise. Plus Conrad and Belly were no longer dating and it was awhile. He also broke up with her by acting up at prom which could of meant alot if he behaved. I don't understand how people think he's awesome when every turn he reacts to pain and uncomfort as being a jerk to everyone. EVEN if his mom was dying, you don't treat people around them like they are garbage. Jere even stated this to him when they got upset. Jere treated Belly so much better and is mature enought to handle an actual relationship.
Tv Tropes Sums up the hate for Jeremiah perfectly. Many Belly/Conrad shippers treat Jeremiah like he's a bad guy this is due to him being the competition for Belly's affections. They claim he is abusive and manipulative and that his every move is a calculated effort to harm Conrad or Belly, while nothing in canon supports this.

Conrad's attitude in this scene is interesting considering he and Belly weren't even together, he's acting like he owns her. If the role were reversed people would be fuming at Jeremiah. The scene was funny at first but he kept going and it became simply mean. Mocking your brother's college just because it's not an Ivy league college like you're better than him, sl*tshaming Jeremiah talking about hookups he had when he was SINGLE (while he almost kissed belly when he was still with nicole, that's so funny of him), called him a Fcrybaby in the store after jeremiah was having enough of that toxic attitude, literally trying so bad to make Jere snap at him or proving that he knows belly best just because of some stupid candy or that she can't read while in the car, and the question about the kiss? When Conrad finds out about the fact that they kissed and belly was scared of hurting him, conrad said " he's jere, he never takes things seriously" and begged her to be with him, and months later lied to belly about Jeremiah being fine and going on dates, and then the whole car scene. While Jeremiah gave him the blessing bc "when your brother tells you something like that...", Step aside and ofc continuing HURTING BADLY, and when he saw conrad after the kiss on the campus he waited for him FOR MORE THAN AN HOUR, begged belly to talk to him, begged those two idiots to talk to eachother, put his love aside yet again. I can empathize with conrad on a certain level, but yall don't deserve a character like Jeremiah, as an individual character, that is always being trashed just because he gets in the way of your ship. He's too good despite his flaws.

I love this scene. Conrad should have called out Belly more. I don't understand how you expect him to be ok with you making out with his brother. I was cheering on Connie's pettiness 😂 Belly and Jeremiah deserved it and they knew what they were doing wasn't ok else they wouldn't have looked so guilty or acted so uncomfortable around him. I might sound cruel, but I hope they both leave her. She needs to be by herself and grow up a little. LIVING FOR CONRAD IN HIS EVIL ERA. just kidding lol i know he's being petty, just like jeremiah said he's just doing this whole act so nobody realizes he's hurting. something pretty weird about belly that i noticed is that when she was with conrad she was so so worried about hurting jere's feelings because she knew he had feelings for her, i wished belly would be a little careful about conrad's feelings too cause she knows he's very heartbroken about them. i know belly tried talking it out with con and i'd also say she did enough, but yeah all i wanted was for her to be a little careful around him, keeping in mind that both of their mom passed away a month ago.

Unpopular opinion...Belly is an unlikable character. No matter what, she played Cam and Jeremiah the first summer. While I think Belly and Conrad should be endgame, Jere was totally right when he said she was distracting herself with him, and she just expected him to be fine. She sucked during the break up scene. Conrad was having an anxiety attack over his soon to die mother and she escalated it and said they were over. She chose to entertain a fight at Susanna's funeral...NOT the right place for that discussion. She basically abandons her lifelong best friend at his mother's funeral (Jere). She goes back to cousin's the second summer still reeling from her break-up with conrad who she said she was "out of her mind in love with". It could have only been a few months at best since prom, and in ONE week, she's over him and back to Jere. I know shes a teen. I've been one. I can't imagine being that reckless with other's feelings. The show is entertaining enough, but she's hard to stomach sometimes.

Yes I know, I read the book too. Even though the story in the series is mostly sticking to the book, they have some differences that makes me feel like we have to look at them as two different story. For example, in the book the Debutante ball never existed. And ( if I remember correctly) Jere in the book doesn’t know how to cook, while in S1 jere cooked breakfast for everyone. In the series S2E6 Skye asks her which of the brothers is a better kisser when they are talking with Taylor before the party. She says "Cam was sweet, with Conrad I basically blacked out I wasn't there, and with Jeremiah is was really, really really hot" I’m team Conrad (in both series and books) but from the series right now (S2) you can tell that Jere is a better kisser

It could have only been a few months at best since prom, and in ONE week, she's over him and back to Jere. I know shes a teen. I've been one. I can't imagine being that reckless with other's feelings. The show is entertaining enough, but she's hard to stomach sometimes.
