On the vm overhearing the 911 call KR is freaking out finding John, while Jen is waay too calm, seeming unsurprised to find her “great friend that she loved” described as “a man in the snow.”🙄
How is an MIT educated ER doctor with decades of experience qualified to talk about animal injuries but not vehicular bodily damage? She worked at a level one trauma center in the second largest city in the country. She likely has even more experience with patients who experienced being hit by vehicles than dog bites
She also mentioned she was in law enforcement for some years!! Makes no sense that she can’t testify to if the injuries are consistant/inconsistent with an MVA, but let’s trooper proctor, bukkake and Tully get up there and testify about JOK injuries as if they’re doctors!

I'm thinking she doesn't remember what an actual BIG dog attack looks like. Dog lovers know that if a big dog attacks you, you are gonna look like you've been in a dogfight! Scratches do not represent a dog attack. Dog attacks are loud and wake folks up! Canine DNA was not on John's shirt which would have had dog teeth going through it. Dog attack is bullsh__....so is a massive multi-layered law enforcement, etc. conspiracy to frame Karen Read,!!! She murdered John when she willingly left him very incapacitated and inebriated on the ground where he landed after her car struck him. I believe she returned later on and found John in the same place and in bad shape -- but left him again. She had all night to get help to him but chose not to. He sadly died. Karen murdered him!!!

Regardless of what you feel about Karen, could Lally ask anymore ridiculous and time consuming questions? And wanting to bring in Read searching for an attorney seems massively prejudicial. You cannot use the right to an attorney as an indication of guilt
And wait till the real fax come out Proctor called her and threatened her with a DUI right before she called a lawyer. He called and asked questions about drinking and driving so she called a lawyer had nothing to do with a murder so that’ll be a hard pill to swallow, give it a few days and you’ll hear it in court

The prosecutions gets WEEKS--29 days to present their case but Bev wants to give it to the jury next week? The defense gets 4 or 5 days to present their case? That's unreal.

I think the prosecution called a lot of the defenses witnesses first, sorta soften the blow, get ahead of what’s inevitable example trooper proctor and many more. If the defense needed more time I feel that she would of given it to them. I’m excited to watch the defense present their case, I don’t think it’s going to be as boring or repetitive as prosecution.

7:06:50 the defense is gonna have a field day in cross on this question. There was a few inches of snow that fell over the 6 hours John lay there. It would be impossible to draw any inferences from looking at the lack of snow disruption at 6am. Hypothetically, if two men had rolled on that front for 15 minutes in a death match at 12:30am, there would be ZERO evidence of that struggle at 6am. ZERO. I don’t think the Doctor realizes it was snowing between 12:30am and 6:00am.

They could have carried him after beating him in the celler and staged his body the shoe flying off the bits of glass from karens lights. Why did they put a new floor in the basement, put the house on the market, got rid of mobile ect. They brought him out through the bulkhead and then around the house through the gate that leads exactly to where he was found. If you think the police who arrived did a real investigation, you're lying to yourself! They didn't even walk around inside the house. Two went inside the front door and stood there. They never moved from that spot! There were footprints under the fallen snow from the 1-2 hours John was out there, guarantee you, but the police didn't do a real investigation like they would if an officer wasn't involved or they didn't know anyone involved.

That's not really accurate. Suffering means conscious and aware, which would be unlikely with the brain swelling and hypothermia. The ME didn't say he would have survived if he had gotten treatment sooner. His skull fracture and brain injuries were quite extensive.
The phone data of officer O’Keefes phone doesn’t lie and neither does the data from the ECU on her Lexus. Wack Job!
Defense needs to cross examine his claim that there was no movement after 0025 and 36 seconds. He made claim without the prosecutor providing that data. That means they don't want us to see the data. He either moved with data or did not move with data to prove either one. Where is that data he referred to, in order to claim no movement.

Prosecution and defense agreed not to present it because the probing value doesn't outweigh the damage it would cause to Karen's character.

I'm questioning the prosecution far more than the defense. Seems like a lot of shady stuff over there. At the root, we all just want it to be a fair trial, and whoever did this to be held accountable but serious question marks there

I think the prosecuter proved that no other people involved in John's death to the tune of zero in octillion chance.
I do xray and CT. Abrasions to the dorsal (back) hands are typically defensive wounds. AND the abrasion to the rt knee could be typical of another dog bite. Abrasions and lacerations to the eyes, nose and back of head indicate an assault. Eyes swell from physical assaults to the front of the face, much more frequently, than from a rare subarachoid hemorrhage.

The stairs - ascending and descending. So either somebody else at 34 Fairview had possession of Officer O'Keefe's phone - or it was still on Officer O'Keefe. Hmm, so the Alberts and McCabes did not expect the digital data to be reviewed/investigated so thoroughly....?

She testified that she can't conclude that JOK wasn't hit by a car. Just that there isn't enough to be 100% sure.

And we don't know her cheating history. We do know for sure she was into something with Higgins. Haven't seen any evidence he was cheating. Just that she was drunk & accusing him. She seemed to be drunk alot. And today she's living & breathing while he is not. Cheating or not, using her to babysit, hitting her with a pillow (🤦♀️), doesn't justify running someone over and ending their life. It was her choice to live that life if it's even true.

If Johns body was projected some 30 ft. by a vehicle traveling at 25 mph. where is the contrasting point of impact on his body? No marks on his body are indicative of a 6' 200lb. man being projected 30 ft. No way!!

Agreed. I ALREADY thought that Read was guilty, but these two pieces of evidence are compelling. It is hard to know what the jury will find significant though.

Let me understand:
John O’Keefe was squatting/or tying his shoes up when the car hit him to the back of his head. This forced him to fall forward and his right arm (dorsal/from inside) got injured by the already perfectly aligned broken plastic pieces from the impact (broken taillight). His massive injuries around his eyes area, nose, etc were consequently produced by falling face down into the grassy area… this car hit/impact had to happen in a matter of total, let’s say, 3 sec?

It is an exception to the hearsay rule.
The one thing that stood out was the 0.28 level of alcohol in his blood. He weighed a little over 200 pounds. That is off the chart literally. The chart ends at 10 plus drinks and .25 for his weight range. That would definitely contribute to a death in any case. Not deadly, but he was really drunk. If you are to believe he was hit by a car - it wouldn't take much force to knock him out and he never wakes up. If you are to believe he was beat up, he would have been out cold on the first punch or 2nd, and then continue to get pummeled after he was out. In either case - alcohol would definitely play a big factor.
Can’t believe Lally pop is still at it. Get done with the case you think is a sealed deal. How many witnesses so far?

Albert could have been held partially responsible for O'Keefe's death if Albert gave alcohol to the deceased & the victim passed out and froze to death. That fear caused Albert to get all parties to say the decedent never came in. Not that complicated.

a) No need to shout (all caps = shouting).
b) What do you want her to do? Do you want her in tears? Then people would say "look at these fake tears" or "see, she's crying, she's guilty". Do you want her to look expressionless? Then people would say "see, not even tears, she's guilty". I have read things like that in other trial's comments. So it's damned if you do and damned if you don't.

Has there been any testimony as to whether or not his guy was ever in the house? What are the ppl that were in the house saying? John never came to the party didn’t he know he came?

Nobody from the house said he came in except for Brian Higgins saying he saw tall guy enter. Jen McCabe and her husband said they saw the SUV in front and were repeatedly go look through the window because they weren't coming in and texted John at 12h45 AM up till close to 1AM but Karen Read connected to John's home wifi at 12h36 so she was gone from there before 12h30.
Several people, if not all, who were in the home that night, testified in the beginning of the trial for the Prosecution and stated the victim, John never entered the home. I lost count how many witnesses corroborated this. This part of the trial seemed to go on forever. The Defense is trying to create “reasonable doubt” to the jurors by claiming all the witnesses who were in the home that night have coordinated their story and conspired to frame the defendant KR. The Defense has claimed or implied there is police corruption in Canton. Hope this helps..
