    1. consistency is key - routine! 4-6 workouts a week
    2. stop eating when you're full - mindfulness of portion sizes
    3. switch up workouts - pilates, HIIT, strength, yoga, boxing etc.
    4. be active daily even when not working out - walk to shops, clean, get active job, etc.
    5. be mindful of protein fats and carbs - balanced meals
    6. semi intermittent fasting - waiting 12-15 hours to give stomach time to digest, perhaps waiting for breakfast
    7. drinking enough water
    8. get enough sleep

    • @tiffanyg1422
      @tiffanyg1422 5 ปีที่แล้ว +116

      hmmm i think its not up to people who consider themselves "skinny fat" to decide if its offensive. Its more so offensive for people who actually describe themselves as "fat" and take offense to the term "fat." I think those people will say "skinny fat" is just not a thing. So ya it can be offensive to say.

    • @multifandommochi6547
      @multifandommochi6547 5 ปีที่แล้ว +394

      Kesonya It is a thing because even if someone looks thin they could have a very high amount of fat. And therefore the term makes logistical sense.

    • @tiffanyg1422
      @tiffanyg1422 5 ปีที่แล้ว +22

      @@birkinmommy i never said I was offended. I actually wouldn't put myself in either category, i was simply explaining that the term itself can be offensive to some whether its intended to be or not.

    • @tiffanyg1422
      @tiffanyg1422 5 ปีที่แล้ว +14

      @@multifandommochi6547 yep i understand, someone "skinny " can still have a high fat percentage even though you cant tell. However, usually, when we use the term "fat" we use it as an adjective to describe someone whose body fat percentage is high enough for you to tell. Usually, when we're using the word "fat" the person the term is used against is offended and hurt. So saying "skinny fat" may not be offensive to the person it's being used against but someone who gets called "fat" on a daily may take offense to people just throwing the term around. I definitely did not mean for this to become a debate, I just thought it was important to point out since someone decided to leave a comment specifically saying the term wasn't offensive. Pretty sure this is a body positive page so i think we should all be mindful that just because something isn't offensive to you doesn't mean it isn't offensive to someone else.

I was "skinny fat" like you were describing and now I'm down 6 pounds in 1 month and I'm never looking back! I feel soooo good about myself now and I can see the difference in my toning too! I've learned how to live a healthy but still manageable life and I'm totally in love with my new healthy habits! Thank you so much for being so honest in this. I truly think this video changed my life because it's what caused me to initially start my health kick and I've learned so much along the way that I will keep with me! Keep up the good work :)

    The video begins around 4:20. I often refer to myself as thin fat. I'm not overweight, but my body is. It's not meant to be insulting. My current body is EXACTLY like your previous one, therefore I'm interested to try this and see what happens because our bodies are so similar.

      Could be dehydration but also being bloated is different from your stomach filling up. If you start drinking more water, you should notice the most difference in the morning before you eat and drink, and maybe notice less bloating after meals. But right after drinking a ton of water, you stomach is just getting full most likely

      I know this is old, but you might need to look into food sensitivities. I have IBS so a looott of stuff makes my stomach irritated, but when you can single out certain food that might be triggering it then you can start eating foods that dont do that to you. Like for me pasta can make me puff up so i found an alternative one made with quinoa or veggies!

    (10:10) Sorry to say this bad intermittent fasting won’t work with less than 12-14 hours of fasting that's because, for the first 12 hours of fasting, your body burns glycogen (a molecule that stores sugar). After 12 hours, it starts to burn fat stores. So from 12 hours onwards your body will lose weight! Hope this helped anyone🥰

    Hello! You're progress is amazing!! ✨✨💛 I identify myself to you. You inspiring me a lot! 💛💛
    I've had it just like you for years and last year doctors found out I had a nervous ulcer. So from that moment on, I started on a special diet due to my stomach problem but still felt bloated. That's when some friends of mine introduced me to the yoghurt flower, Kefir, and I changed physically and psychologically in a radical way. I am rarely bloated only if I eat something that my body rejects like fried foods, full of fat and oils, acids and so on. I myself was discovering what was doing me good or bad, adapting to my daily life. I went back to training and walking and that also helps me to be healthy. 🙏🏻
    Lots of love from Portugal 💛💛

    Personally I like having a bit of fat on my body. Fat gives me a feminine look. My chest looks fuller and my hips look rounder. But what I've noticed is that if you don't exercise, your body will accumulated more fat around your mid section, which throws your figure off. I've also noticed that I'm less hungry when I exercise regularly. Exercising and eating healthy with an occasional unhealthy meal keeps your body looking good. I'm aiming to put on muscle but also maintain a pich of fat, therefore giving me a bit of a thick look. Slimming my waist, adding lots of muscle to my legs and glutes and having long slim muscles on my arms.

    First of all girl you are so pretty! And definitely know how you feel about not feeling your best. Except in my case I was like at my heaviest 300 pounds. I ended up losing weight then gaining it back again. During lockdown I have been basically working out 5 or 6 days a week and eating healthier than I did. I'm starting to get to where I want to be and I'm starting to feel better. I am definitely losing more inches than weight but still happy with myself over that and I'm happy for you as well!!
