Transportation is half the fun especially with the phoenix trucks
I still say that giants should Implement a way to block incomin' products from production facilities so we don't have to waste Goods where we don't want them
Need an option to decide where what products to send to what production you want, learnt hard ways
That's why I truck stuff where I want it.
The production revamp mod, which is on the in game mod portal, will do that.

@7T_primal To necro this comment. The only reason this mod accepts it is because it is defined as a valid filltype (you could always extract the mod, comment out the filltype soybeans line, rezip, etc if all you wanted to do was restrict to certain types).. Also another comment said about how distribution will not be practical as it goes to wrong facilites (sic). For every production there's an index and distribute checks from first position till last and fills accordingly. This can create "havoc" on maps like Angel Mountain which modifies fill limits to like 10 million with no way of getting them out. In these instances, a mod like this would not be helpful. To expand on your comment though, it would be far more helpful if productions could be "zoned" (dmz) so they only interact with productions in the same zone but this is not possible with the giants api at present.

My favorite wood, cotton, ect storing mod before jos mobile utility's container. Still use missyb grainquid pro big one all the time but I run greenhouses so that's where the silo storage and distribution silo by nykk3 comes in the items the grainquid pro is missing the other silo will hold like water, stones, seed, fertilizer, ect.
Have to be very cautious using these though as they will distribute to everything that uses a commodity. I have learned some hard loss lessons about this so exercise caution. Great video.

use production revamp mod ;) set the "unwanted" productions to prio 10, and the wanted ones to a lower one
Silo Storage and Distribution is another one Driver. I prefer the look of it, you can also store pallets and spawn them

Pallets are another issue. I bought Pig, horse, and Chicken feed, but haven't found a way to feed the animals other than by dumping crops from a trailer. How are they used, opened, etc?

Hey Driver does it cost u anything like a percentage every cycle to distribute those crops? We used one similar to this an it was charging a crazy amount for every time it distributed goods so we quit using it. These would be perfect if it doesn't tho!
No, it cost nothing to send since they’re all set at 0
I didn't check this one for distribution cost. The zero cost shown on the menu screen is for the processing of the recipe.
Hey driver! Does OmaTana's silo do this to an extent? Or is this a game mechanic thing? I placed a Silage factory near the silo and when putting grass and chaff into the solos it shows a available in the factory. Is this just a mechanic thing in the game that it acts as a silo extension near something? Thanks bro!
OmaTana does this too I believe but also production items. Will be working on a production silo video next week.

What is the "Spawning" option that you are getting when you cycle through the product options? All I have is "Selling, Distributing and Storing"
It "unloads" the product onto a trigger area on a pallet, or tank, or bag, depending on the product and if it can even BE spawned. Just like the chicken coop can "spawn" the egg boxes, and so on.
I'm lazy: just take the 82 studio buy station *AND/OR* a front loader + global goods transport pallet *OR* a belt (there's an "auto load" one that is white on the modhub picture) and place buy station close enough to the unload point and use either/or method to transfer until full: sell any extra as needed/applicable

Where do I drop the MOD file I downloaded and extracted? The silos are not showing up in My Factories.
Shouldn't need to extract the files. Just need to put the zip file in your mod folder.
@@Driver53Gaming Doesn't exist. I created the full set of folders and dropped it in both as a zip file and full extraction. Still doesn't work. Steam is useless for support, as is Giants Tutorials thay don't cover it.

It will distribute 24,000 hourly.
But 24000 is number of cycles, lack of number in receipte means it turns 1 liter from input to output, or all liters?
Doesn't this take out the fun? I mean FS is all about hauling stuff from A to B when you're being honest.
To some maybe, to others maybe not. The beauty of this game is that players can play however they wish to play.

Unfortunately there are new/updated maps which are now using a fruit type called "grass fresh" when mowed. This mod cannot accept that.

It will not distribute to animal husbandries.
I think we need pumpkins as a greenhouse crop just so we can have a punkin chunkin cannon.

Please verify you have activated it in your mod selection screen before starting the game save. Also, it is not found in silos. It can be found in the productions tab in construction mode.

Will this work with cononla and sunflower oil
You can distribute the oils to other productions or sell them directly from the production location. There is a charge for both though.

🤣 Trucking is a far better option. Why you ask? Because you can specifically distribute to whatever production point you want. However if you don't care then by all means use this method

i was just looking for a grain distribution silo and stumbled up on this! .... totally unrealistic mod breaking game's balance, at least if they did different versions of it for each crop / product. but definitely not all in one like it is ! .. and esp with that ridiculous holding capacity of +1M liters.. . you are ruining just games mechanics.
