This video is such a great “lightbulb” moment for me. I knew my Tootsie had the microlifter but I didn’t understand how to use it in my bag making. I have had so many “grrrr” moments on bags when I get to topstitching the area around where the strap hardware connectors are sewn into the bag. This information is going to make all the difference! Thank you!
@@JukiJunkies Thank you for your great demo of Micro-lifter. May I suggest to use visible color threads for demo, and to show how stitches on backside looks?
I knew my TL-18 has the microlifter but didn't understand how to use it. Also, the foot pressure was confusing. I never knew when to adjust it but now I do. Thank you!
BOKI! I had no idea! I knew my machine had that I just never knew where/how to find it! omg, It's amazing - game changer! I can't wait to sew Christmas gifts now!
I absolutely love the TL-18 (actually the entire TL line), my store sells them, but -for what I most often sew-I cannot justify trading my TL- 2000 in to have the Micro Lift and a speed control.
Micro or not? MICRO....you guys did a fantastic video on (and created a PDF) showcasing the features and differences among your machines. I agree with you that the micro lifter (and speed control v. other machines) offers supreme versatility.
Can I use the micro lifter with my walking foot on the machine?Manual just says make sure it is tightened down. Which makes me think no but not sure. This is a question for bag making not quilting. Thanks 🙏
Boki what juki machines has the throat height space close to the TLC machines? 2000, 2010, 2015, 2018 ? I'm looking for a machine that has the height but possibly a top loading bobbin ?
Thank You for this great video, I'm wanting to own a juki TLC machine at some point. Saving up for one.I have a juki TLC LB 5100, and really like it except the throat space height is not as tall as the TLC 2010, 2015 or 2018. Which is why I want a TLC semi mechanical sewing machine. I do wish the TLC machines in this video. Had a top loading bobbin, do you think the TLC machines 2010,2015, 2018 will ever be designed to have a top loading bobbin? If the manufacturers did this I believe these machines would be perfect!!... Also I'm not very good at free motion quilting yet It's a little difficult on my TLC LB 5100. Because of lack of throat space height. I have difficulties with my right foot, and have learned to sew with my left foot. But I believe it would be so much easier to free motion quilt. If I didn't have to worry about the stitching length while sewing. Is there a video that shows how to apply and use the stitch regulator? Also can I purchase a extra long cable for the foot pedal that would fit my TLC LB 5100 ? Thank You for the time it took to making this video.

Another great video! Thank you Boki and David for continuing to create excellent content!
Youre welcome :)
The microlifter is also great for Free Motion Quilting and Ruler Foot Quilting - especially over seam intersections! A game changer!
Great tip!

Thank you. I didn’t know about this function.
Very helpful. Thank you!
Always such great information! Thank you.🙂
Thank you
The micro-lifter is definitely a game changer. I just got my TL-18 QVP and have used it already!
Love to hear it :)

Thank you. I'd like to see a lesson about adjusting the bobbin tension on the TL machines.😮

DX SERIES look at the dx7 :)
Is the Microlifter better for Free Motion Quilting; if so, what is the best height to have it for Free Motion Quilting?
You raise it as high as you need to be able to move your fabric freely
No you dont need to because the feet you use are made to not touch the plate.
@@JukiJunkies the free motion quilting feet that I have for my machine definitely touched the plate
What can you tell us about the TL2200 mini QVP? Do you sell this model?
That's the older TL model they don't make that model anymore. However its the same machine just a different number now. Look at the Juki TL-2010

just wipe oil off and make sure you follow this oiling method in this video :)
I am from Australia, we can’t get the TL180 here, is there any chance we can get that machine here?
How do you know when to adjust the micro lifter vs the foot pressure?
When the material is not feeding enough
:)
So, the microlifter basically makes a hump jumper obsolete?
A built-in Jean-a-magig!
Love it 🤣

i don't see why not but make sure there is enough pressure foot pressure for the foot to still work
