What is Vitamin D? (WHAT might it help AND HOW MUCH should I be TAKING?)

  • Vitamin D. Its all the rage at the moment. Everyone is doing it.
    Or they should be!
    Now a quick disclaimer - in this video I talk about dosages of vitamin D supplementation. If you are suspecting Vitamin D deficiency, you really should have a chat to your Health Professional. Mind you, at the doses I'm suggesting, its rather (or incredibly) unlikely to experience an adverse event. Either way, chat first then supplement.
    So many of you should know that I am a strong advocate of Vitamin D. I've been on my soap box proclaiming its benefit for zonks. But its about time that I start telling people more about it!
    And you know whats fun? Learning on the way!
    Who would have thought that VITAMIN D could influence risk of AUTISM or even affect your CHILD'S IQ??

    Very good informative presentation ... huge topic at the moment regarding dosage, I have been taking 3 x recommended level and importantly am waiting for the result of my Vitamin D blood level result ... if it is low I shall increase dosage and if too high then lower it.

      Thanks very much Michael! And yes you are very correct, a huge topic indeed, given its relative abundance, huge potential benefits, and extremely low risk of side effects!
