    Sleek exterior
    The 2024 Infiniti QX50 shares the same visual design as all generations of QX50s since 2019. This translates to a tried and tested bold physical profile that draws attention wherever you go.
    The 2024 Infiniti QX50 is no different. Aside from the slightly larger front grille- which pushes the car design in a bold new direction-you'll also notice that the lights and car dimensions are different.
    Everything else is largely unchanged. Mid-to-high-tier trims of the car still rock 20-inch wheels, thick bumpers to protect the underside of the car in motion, and even the same smart key technology as the competition such as the BMW X3 and Audi Q5.
    At over 184.7 inches long, the stylish exterior of the car is covered in flowing curves, machined metals, and accents that give the QX50 the feeling of a luxurious Sedan rather than a multi-functional crossover.
    Being the cheapest in its line, the QX50 does not provide a great deal of external customization options, however, there's more than you might expect.
    The car comes in one of six glossy color finishes. You can also enhance your overall ride experience with custom changes like body protection, styling, new lighting fixtures, miscellaneous, and grille and emblems.
    Engine and Performance
    Predictably, the Infiniti QX50 did not receive an engine upgrade in 2024. Being predominantly a luxury line, engine performance is not exactly paramount, but there have been some improvements in the tuning and steering.
    The Crossover still runs on the solid turbocharged four-cylinder engine with variable compression turbo engine it has used since 2019. This is, in theory, supposed to be more efficient than their regular alternative.
    The engine outputs a respectable 268 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque and is paired with a CVT that sends power to the front wheels or all four wheels--in the case of models with four-wheel drive.
    As always, the CVT is a missed bag. On the one hand, you lose the connection between the accelerator and engine during acceleration, but on the other hand, it makes for a smoother driving experience.
    The QX50 can do 0-60 in 6.3 seconds, which is pretty standard for a crossover in its category. You won't be winning any drag races with the car, but it’s certainly no slouch, either. The roar of the powerful engine is also something to look forward to. It screams to life each time you accelerate, but the lack of feedback does not do the engine justice, even if it improves ride stability and the suspension.
    The steering is also an improvement on the 2023 version, allowing for quicker and nimbler turns around town, especially on trims with Intelligent All-Wheel-Drive.
    According to Nissan, Intelligent four-wheel drive automatically controls the torque of the front and rear wheels of the car to provide cornering in line with the driver's intentions predicted by the steering wheel input.
    On some of the more expensive trims, you can get a power tilt steering wheel. This allows you to adjust the height of the car's steering wheel so that you can drive at the height you feel the most comfortable using.
    As for fuel efficiency, it's not much improved since the 2023 model, mainly due to the fact that the engine is the same in both. On front-wheel-drive QX50s, expect 23 miles per gallon in the city and 29 miles per gallon on the highway. All-wheel-drive versions of the luxury crossover will get you 22 miles per gallon in the city and 28 on highways.
    These numbers mirror the stats put out by the QX50 competition, which is discouraging since the engine the crossover runs is supposed to improve fuel efficiency.
    Luxury on a budget
    The luxury trappings of the QX50 have not improved much since the 2023 version of the car.
    Unlike the case of the car engine, this might be a good thing, as there are virtually no improvements that can be made to the interiors without pushing this great car into another price range.
    The skillfully braided leather interior of the car with tactile buttons, a faux wood armrest, and well-distributed vents do not disappoint.
    The Pure and Luxe versions of the car give you the option of two interior configurations. They are called the default graphite leatherette seating and the pebble gray leather-appointed seating.

      IYO - As long as you take care of your vehicle, you should have limited issues. Just because someone likes a vehicle, doesn't make them not a car guy. I know a lot of people that own a QX50 and have no issues to speak of, so take your opinion elsewhere.....@@2004cyrus

If you can’t handle our freedoms then head back over to whatever Marxist dictatorship you came over from and let us be. Censoring doesn’t work with me. I’m educated, I paid my dues and I pay taxes and I’ve traveled the world many times. You aren’t a car person. I’ve had 2 QX50’s and nobody wants the CVT, that opinion is all over TH-cam. Woman buy them. My wife wanted them. Before CVT’s they were still woman’s cars, and the gays flock to them like a fat kid on a cup cake. Should I go on? Because I’m not going elsewhere with my opinions or my facts.

      ​@2004cyrus I'm curious, and I have not found info or feedback that justifies the issue people have with CVT. Hoping you can shed some light. Is the issue with the "sound" of the transmission? The slower pick-up? Do CVT cars break down faster? For commuting and regular driving (which most people do), the car drives great. And has great speed. I just don't understand what the issue is, unless you're drag racing in it. Absolutely no one is doing that...

      @@imjusteb I've heard some complain that the tranny does not move through all the gears like a traditional tranny does. Another reason I love my QX50, I'm averaging 27 mpg. If it were a traditional tranny, the gas mileage would not be as high.
