Regarding TOGGLE EXPANDED DEVICE VIEW. If you assign your key command using Alt, it will open docked in the arranger. If you assign with Shift it will open as a pop-up window. That's the best of both worlds and a lovely little feature. I hope they keep it.
Goldmine vid. I'm watching this video multiple times (I'm dense), even whilst performing chores; got a notecard with these and other shortcuts penned. Thanks a mill!
Great Job, i'm transitioning from ableton and despite the very similar interface and workflow, hotkeys are a pain in the ass.. you made my life easier, thanks man !
Thanks a lot Tâches for your terrific videos! I already missed you during your longer TH-cam break. I also think it's great that you continue to release your tutorial videos on TH-cam. These are a source of knowledge and inspiration at least for me. In order to show you some form of appreciation for your great work, I just bought your 101 Grid course although I guess I shouldn't dive down that rabbit hole right now. Thanks again and looking very much forward to your future content!
So there is a button to drop markers?! Wonderful, that's going to have to be M like Soundforge! Do you know if you save your default template with the time ruler showing it'll always be there - that's one less right-click menu choice every project :)
Thank you Taches, inspiring, i guess it’s impossible remember so many shortcuts at once , i am pretty sure it’s possible to progressively input more and more shortcuts in the workflow and become a shortcut master🤩
Great stuff Taches, I'm lazy and have too much money, I bought a Loupedeck and assigned everything to buttons. Button memory rather than shortcut memory 🙂
mind blown. i wonder now 5.2 is out they added a bunch of shortcuts in there i havnt checked them out but wondered if they have screwed up some of your lovel shortcuts. the only thing i didnt get from the video is are these that you list ALL different to default shortcuts or only most of them? My brain imploded especially with the speed you fired these out i might slow down replay and write these all down like mad! cheers.
One shortcut I dont think exists but would be super helpful is a way to navigate to FX/Note devices nested within the parent device. Maybe I just haven’t found it.
Could you confirm that the relevant commands work within a launcher clip (both track and Group track)? In my experience, markers are not possible and clips on a Group track (Show Master track content) can act rather differently (for instance you often have to enter the group and set 'All to same' to get all 16 channels flowing. You cant even access a Group clip without expanding the group first. I'm trying to build a workflow of 16 Grouped tracks..Midi ch1-16 and use a clip on the group track to sequence all 16 tracks via 'Selected channels (hide others) This facilitates composing 16 tracks from 1 view and if you input the key scale behind the 1 bar line and collapse to the drum editor, you have a 16 track key locked sequencer.
So... there's no equivalent macros for launcher clips as the on'es listed here for arranger clips. The same 16 channel clip, moved to a Group arrangement track does the same job of pushing to 16 tracks...but with the benefit of these most excellent commands and cue markers
Make a Hit Button is my Favorite one, anyway we all have are proof of concept to work with a DAW or any hardware, and these shortcuts are just an extension of all that you remember to use
Great Tutorial! I believe there is a tiny typo in your description: "Jump To ... Cue Marker" with the modifier SHIFT instead of ALT. Just a minor detail, other than that great video!! :) Thank you so much!
These Are The BEST Bitwig Shortcuts (51 of them) Completely missed by me: 'Controller' Hit + ......touch a pad on the Launchpad Mini MK3 (64 colour assignable pads) ....wowzers this opens up a host of options with underused controllers
Can't seem to find the shortcut for Finish Song...

Priceless. Going to program my keyboard and mouse for some of these with QMK.
All your videos are totally helpful.

You are a god send mate
great tutorial. Is it possible to assign shortcut for moving the playhead?
great one! thank you!
Thanks a lot for your overview! I was always wondering what that "Alternate Duplicate" in the editing section is.
Does somebody what that is about?
Thank you Taches, inspiring, i guess it’s impossible remember so many shortcuts at once , i am pretty sure it’s possible to progressively input more and more shortcuts in the workflow and become a shortcut master🤩
Are you on Mastodon? Great video as usual by the way. Thanks! 🙌
Very useful as usual. Thank you. 😇

Right on! Whatever works brother 🙏

Thank you friend!
I'm a CMD+left/right arrows for scaling 50/200% person myself. Goodness, I love Bitwig.

superb
The shortcut to mute clips/notes??
