    I like on how you emphasize the importance to embrace the limitation. Sometimes the limitations become our excuse to grow

      Parameters are everything. A blank page is too much opportunity. We need ways of making choices until we have a finished work of art.

    I'm going to have to do "In the sticks" sketching, we live about 45 minutes from the nearest city/urban area, so my sketching will be in my hometown for the near future.
    Thank you for this video! 👍🏻👍🏻

    I'm glad I found you on TH-cam! I just started watercolor painting in November of 2020 to cope with the lockdowns, etc. Now... I want to learn to draw and do some sketching. I was so excited to see you have TH-cam!!

    I think your "keep it simple" (3 colours, frame, style rather than realism) attitude is key! Love the advice! I would like to ask you: do you think this strategy can be used in digital sketchig as well? I'm familiar with the basics of drawing (a bit rusty though) and I would like to use digital tools (procreate, which I'm absolute beginner level).

    i have absolutely 0 drawing experience but your tiktok inspired me to try! what do you recommend to start with, paint markers, pens, pencils, or something else?

    • @kevin_zych
      @kevin_zych  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That's great to hear! I think pens are best because it removes the temptation to erase and redraw. Learn to make one fluid mark - so any pen that rolls well is fine. Focus on quantity. Bang out a thousand quick drawings instead of a few "perfect" ones.

    I thank you for your help but I do wish some one would do a video that doesn’t entail you to be an artist all ready.
