Henglong Tiger1 FPV with benedini sound and smoke

- Henglong tiger 1 with 3 cameras set up, Eagle Tree OSD and logger, GPS sensor for eagle tree, 600mWatt 5.8 GHz immersion video transmitter, DBC 3, benedini smoke and sound, 6 watt amply, visaton speaker. The recoil is using servo and use program mix in my futaba FX30. Battery is Zippy 5800 mAH 2S and combine with adjustable step up regulator, because benedini smoke generator need 12 V to operate and also I think I could adjust the smoke output by lowering the voltage input for benedini smoke generator. The sound is great, smoke is unbelievable. For 20 cc of smoke fluid I can play as long as 15 minutes But the battery last for 1,5 hours.

Great Job. Once people experience the full sound of the Benedini and the engine mapping transitions, other system have a hard time measuring up.

Well, this is Heng Long tank which is I bought from local store. The modification of the gear box, wheel, tensioner, visaton speaker etc mostly from rctank.de; the sound module, amply, are from battle armor; the smoke unit is from thomas benedini store benedini.de. The FPV set up are from hobbyking.com; and all cameras are from ebay.com. The metal kanon and new turret are from rctank australia. The recoil gun made by my self also with rc controled vision block driver. All this cost 1-1,1k USD roughly

What are some of the upgrade parts one should get if starting in rc tanks?
metal? steel or brass gearbox? metal wheels all around with metal tracks?
motor upgrades as well?
Seems like plastic wheels would get worn out fast.

Lovely Tiger.. I have a Heng Long Tiger, and all metal Taigen and Torro Tigers.
The Torro has the gun recoil and led flash, but not the Benedini sound system. This I want to upgrade! Is it easy to fit??

Isaac: in this video I use IR battle turret. But I have another turret swapable with this thank. So whenever I want, I can change the model from IR to air soft. In other video, my upgraded air soft turret can explode an explosive BB bullet

SpontiFlex its very easy, I use DBC2HL to conect henglong board with benedini. You can ask dan crowley in battlearmorrc.weebly.com. I am sure they will help you with it
I own a heng long tiger, and the recoil of the gun is nothing like this one. I like this one.
German Tiger with german oilsmoker in 12V, thats more then 4 to 6 times more smoke then the original Heng Long version. Ok that's more than enough :-) My E50 is jealous a bit...

FPV V3: it is simple, I use DBC to convert signal from futaba receiver to henglong board. Find it in many wen source

Another modification with this unit: I add mechanism so the smoke not just only out from exhaust pipe, but also out from cannon barrel after successfull canon firing. Find the video in my account. Cheers

How much smoking oil did you put in?
Usually 3-5 cc will be burnt in one cycle play. But I always put about 10 cc inside the oil tank. The rest will be suck out with syringe after play

Wynester71: if you dont want FPV then it is very easy set up with just only benedini sound, DBC, and amply. But since I use benedini smoke system also, a lil problem will occur regarding the piping. I manage to solve it using right angle pipe connector from wiper car system. This tank is swapable turret. Right now I use BB gun turret with green laser targeting and gun mech modification using precision barrel 6.02. The latest I want to implement is adding UV led inside BB magazine so the tracer BB pellet will available for night battle....yeaaahhhh
100 dollar rc tank turns into 200 dollar rc tank

1/16 scales are actually 90-120 dollars. 1/8, and 1/6 scale are around 500, and don't even get me started on the 1/1 scale. The smaller the number, the better.
