I really hope for the 3rd one they bring in a Na’vi tribe that’s either payed off by the humans kinda like with the conquistadors or a tribe that’s similar to the mayans that gets along with no one and is utterly ruthless

I heard rumours that something like that would happen in the to nuance the view and moral stance of the Na’vi. The third movie would feature a tribe that would use iron (which is forbidden by Eywa’s law) and have a bad connection with Eywa due to living in a less habitable environment with less green and animals. They’d probably take the side of the humans because they wouldn’t be treated fairly by the other Na’vi tribes, or they would feel like they don’t belong with the rest of their race.
Watched this in Imax and I gotta say the youtube quality doesn't even come close. Idk how but in the cinema everything just looked much more realistic and here it looks like almost outdated despite still being top notch CGI. Crazy
100% agree. This film MUST be seen on the big screen. I saw it multiple times in IMAX 3D and once at a regular 3D cinema. I noticed a big difference between just the IMAX and regular theater.
We don't know how many of the English dialogue we hear is actually spoken in English. Since pretty early in the movie Jake has this sequence where (probably for the sake of the viewers), he starts hearing his kids speaking Na'vi as them speaking English. It's around the time he says "don't make me come over there" and stuff.
Yeah cause humanity actually has a good reason for fighting unlike the Na'vi who just want to stay in the tribal stage of civilization and worship their parasite tree.
I have to give credit to wainfleet does make a great henchmen and soldier. I never forget how he died in first movie crushed by a alien rhino thing but came back

We can see that Lyle showing discomfort about killing the Tsahik is the most viewed scene here. But people point out he later shoots Neteyam which is true. But we have to look at this from the eye of a soldier guys. Executing unarmed non-combatants or women and children is a war crime in the armies like the US military and those guys are marines. But however Neteyam later engaged them in combat, so it's in protocol that he fire or attack with what he had available (in this case a gun with lethal ammo) at a dangerous threat to the mission and his teammates. Anyone would defend themselves if there in a tense combat situation and especially soldiers whose job involve killing. Also it is possible that some people who are used to seeing the Na'vi as dangerous savage alien foes might felt have felt very weird after being in a synthetic body of one and couldn't help but have some sense of familiarity and understanding with those he thought freaks. And the one he questioned about killing was the Tsahik, and that would have terrible outcomes. So what do you think?
