I'm late to this band and I've been out of the loop with hardcore for years, but man they give me heavy swedish death metal vibes and I love that one of the dudes is wearing a Bathory shirt. I'm one of the only dudes who moshes at my local death/black metal shows so it's nice to hear that influence.
In the late 90s no one wanted to hear a "preachy" band talk about issues... but its 2018 and the simple, to the point comment about the LGBTQ community and inclusiveness was really important for me to hear. There's way too much apathy today, and I want to see these fists being thrown in the name of progress, not regress. Thank you Knocked Loose. This is Hardcore!
Stephen Dre maybe their newest album does, their older ep is better in my opinion. But the Pop Culture EP has sub par sound quality so it’d be cool to hear it with this sound.

Their sound takes me back to the early days of metalcore / metallic hardcore, where every band was kinda doing their own thing, their own style... ya know...? the style was based on the rag tag band of misfits you managed to convince to join your band (metal guitar player, hc punk vocals, punk bassist, metal or oldschool drummer... just whoever 'felt right' / felt the vibe). and thus... no 'styles' to copy yet. That's the vibe I get from them: "whatever is dope, we do it"
