I just completed the perfect sock thanks to your tutorials. You are without a doubt the best teacher, I so appreciate that you took the time and energy to teach this. I can’t thank you enough. ❤❤❤
@samgrant83 I tried his zorro method and found it way harder to get the yarn through. I can live with the back stitch being twisted. If I remember, I heard someone say this way was invented by Elizabeth Zimmerman
I feel this need to branch out just to learn all the techniques, and I feel a little guilty, but there's no upside that is convincing me to try a short row heel or toe up socks. I'm a gold star gusset guy im ok with that.
@@yvonnevigil7489 german twisted in a 2x2 pattern. And I hold two needles together double. I have a video about it here! I do not use a slip knot I just start by wrapping the yarn around the needles.
Thank you, a neater looking ssk that’s easier to execute. Love it❤

YAY! It's my pleasure, and it's so exciting to hear about your socks turning out. Thank you!
Well demonstrated, but you should check out the Sockmatician's Zorro method which avoid twisting the lower stitch (which this method creates)

Hi new to channel. Enjoy you very much. I'm a gusset girl but going to try short rows and see how it fits. Thanks ❤

@@fiddlespun another question when you wrap do you get a dip on the cuff connection
@yvonnevigil7489 yes a tiny bit but it's not noticeable after weaving the tail in. I'll have to make a demo video on that
