Mine left China a couple of days ago. For the amount it cost compared to the original, I'm very forgiving of any faults I can't fix. The paws on Ravage can be switched, loose joints can have some Kiki applied, tabs can be shaved or thickened with superglue. I was very close to buying the original, but when I added the tapes the total was too much. I looked at my Masterpiece KO and was still happy with that enough to not need the upgrade. This was £130 and my eyes widened. Then I decided to look around and saw it for £110 on TF Safari. It was one of those 'shut up and take my money moments'. Not sure why this comment turned into the story of my purchase. Long story short (too late), I'm very much looking forward to getting this figure and the little guys.
I think it looks great and very comparable to the original. Aside from that blue mark on the white in alt mode, most of the things pointed out as negatives were actually a potential problem even on the original. The tabbing on the original was insanely tight and potentially difficult to get things in place. With this companies KO of Thomas, everything lined up, tabbed in, and sat flush like the original but had normal feeling joints unlike FTs insane tightness, so I'm hoping for that outcome again when I receive this. I will be pulling mine apart to paint black though since who knows when soundblaster will come so I'll be pretty forgiving if I have to sort some things.
I've been messing around with mine for a day. All the tabs will lock-in just very tight, to the point paint will be chipped and scratched. My Lazerbeak has a stiff neck, my gun doesn't stay in the hand like yours and Lazer Beak doesn't fit on Sound Wave's arm or shoulder. My cassettes fit in the chest and eject fine on mine. Ravage's back feet were def installed wrong - up-side-down and left-to-right. Overall, I'm happy with it when you thing of the the price compared with the original FT and that you get two more cassettes with this.

Got mine in today. It's very good! The tabbing in alt mode is spot on. The battery cover won't close completely with the batteries in, so I took them out and it's fine. Just a few minor issues with looseness on the cassettes and a couple of minor paint blemishes in robot mode, but one slightly annoying paint blemish in alt mode (a thigh rotation has caused a 3mm scrape on one side). £110! (From TF Safari) To buy the original and cassettes from Omegalock would be £291.50 right now. Just missing one cassette and saving over £180 makes it my bargain of the year so far. My previous bargain of the year was the KO of MP-52+ Thundercracker for £55.47, from ShowZ.
He’s not supposed to have an ab tilt you’re meant to lock in the metal pieces in the back under the hipskirts cause it’ll do damage and loosen the screw
I actually prefer to leave the metal brackets up because the tilt allows for more natural poses. I didn't see anything that would be damaged by doing this. I also don't force anything so there is no stress on those parts.
I'm very happy with mine, especailly getting Rumble to complete my FT cassettes. I just wish the tapes fit into the G1 and MP Soundwave. Also note that Ravage has black screws but the official has grey painted rivets.
I wish I knew this was coming b4 I bought Acoustic Wave...for the price, this is far better value considering I paid $250 for the main bot & another $100 for the cassettes...

Just like FTs Blaster with the Gold plated Chest...Chances are FTs will release a Toon version with a painted yellow chest. I'm thinking FTs will release a toon version of SW without the Gold and have that orangee yellow surround for the tape door and white paint for the buttons. 🙏
Not to be negative, but I think your waiting for a couple things that may not happen. The price thing is possible but it was 190 for preorder early pricing when I got it and has been 230 ever since so maybe 200 on sale. As for the gold, I'm not so sure I see FT changing that. I bought a matte yellow cover that just pressed on over the gold and barely thickened it up so it looks like it was supposed to be that way. FT's style seems to be a mix of toon/toy design with flashier colors, I don't see them deviating from this.
As someone who owns it it definitely has its faults. Some of the tabs are too big, some joints on the cassettes are loose, but they can always be sanded down or tightened with super glue. These faults would normally be pretty big red flags to buy this figure but when it is a 3rd the price of the official one I think we can all look past it
I still think these are official FT just lacking in quality. So they call it a KO but it's the same figure with bad paint or joints or what ever is wrong with them. But nice review.
@@Windcharger I know ft said if any company sells these kos. They'd make sure that business will never have another ft figure again. If people bought them instead of the 100% complete ft products they would go out of business. So the reissues are there to keep the market interested in their products. Instead of focusing on the kos. And on the side make some money from people like me who'd buy the ko instead. So it's a win win I think.

Absolutely! The only one of the five main senses which is weird to use on new Transformers is taste. Listen to the joints/ratchets. Smell the new plastic. Feel the mass of the figure and tightness of the joints. Look at the thing and admire.
Have you received any products that stink or have a new smell? like new car smell, so that's why. It's funny to see and think of, but I do the same thing.
