"Anything that's in the square that you left is that person's portion" 😂 SOOOO TRUE!!! This is my favourite dish from my childhood, thanks for sharing it with the world ❤
love it brother. the way you explained browning mince and the importance of carrying over technique into each recipe regardless of the end product, as a chef, made me smile hard, legend bruv ❤
Great to see a fresh post B. Has! Hey I looked up tabouli and was surprised that it was mostly parsley. I was looking for a fresh summer salad for a group. Can you make a Cypriot version of tabouli? I am also a huge fan of farro so any dishes with farro would be awesome! Have a great day and happy cooking ;)
You just killed me Has...i know just how good that tastes and i want some right now ffs! Parents are back from Cyprus and you know it's this, Dolma and a nice Salad on Sunday Bro. Great vid as always 👌
Let's say I want to make this, but the bank would give me a mortgage to buy the amount of good olive oil that Has uses. Do I use less olive oil or do I not bother making it?
Olive oil isn’t necessary, and can be replaced with whatever you’ve got. Sunflower, veg, rapeseed. There’s enough good fat from milk cheese and butter. Just as Turks we almost always cook with olive oil
Makaronia tou fournou! Delicious. I make mine slightly differently with tomato in the sauce and a few other small things. Shock horror though use Cyprus packet bechamel sauce!
Ok, this might be the first recipe I am gonna try. I usually hang around for your vibes n shit cause you seem like a nice lad to hang out with and talk about food, but this shit seems to good to pass on. My friend is greek and his mom used to do a dish very similar to this. I never ate sth like that again! Keep doing vids man, your content is great!
@@geordieoliver7267 oh i am sure they are. im not in that phase anymore though really, i cook my own food and just get inspiration for stuff on youtube :D
eline sağlık, we used to eat this a lot but i dont see it outside of esnaf lokantası anymore. guess its losing its popularity. you should be able to cut rectangles to serve though. looks a bit loose.
Refusing your Turkish roots really affected you bro. I remember at first you had the chance to bang in Turkish youtube community. Anyway though, it’s called “Fırında Makarna” in Turkish. Learn.
@@BigHas and you are still a Turk who speaks Turkish with a funny accent. I don’t get the underestimation from the Cypriots towards Turkey. If it wasn’t for Turkey back then in 1974, Greeks would probably own the whole island for themselves. By torturing, raping and killing the remaining Turks of course. However, i didn’t mean any harm. I was born in London but grew up in Istanbul. So you can guess i know both parties on this debate. All of the Cyprus Turks that i have known was very ungrateful about it. Cheers kardeş.
If I had to choose between a gathering catered by this guy or Gordon Ramsey it would be Has EVERY time.
It HAS to be…no other way
Why you hatin'?

Love your video's. Been watching almost since the beginning. Thank you.
Big love to you Hasan for educating us - this looks like the stuff that gatherings are made of.

canım kıyma arada olmalıydı. ☺️
I painstakingly line up each tube of pasta but I use DeCecco ziti which is chunkier.
Love your content. So original.

Today I Iearned holy pasta exists
A bechamel (or a mornay) with eggs sounds like a souffle.

It's crazy the price increase over the last few years.
If you wanted to cut corners perhaps a non Extra virgin Olive oil.?
Try beef tallow or duck fat

Dare I say it looks better than my mum’s makarna firinda 😅
Definitely not worse the time or the calories. Fact it needs ketchup sums it up. Leave the baked pasta to the Italians.
Sunday with Big Has👌
