After hearing your explanation about how God bestows energy orb powers, I have to wonder. Is Homeless Emperor actually a monster? Or is he a human that happens to have super human abilities? Just like Psychos.
At first homeless emperor was just a powerless man without any feat, who lost his job and became homeless. He then acquired power through God. It is never specified that he became a monster throughout his power up, so I assume that he's still 100% human.
Well the Monster Association doesn't actually seem to care if you are literally a monster just that you have the mindset of one. That was like one of the main things in season 2, the association was trying really hard to get Garou to join them and there only requirement was that he was willing to take peoples lives.
He is actually a fully normal human, physique wise at least. It's his energy orbs that make him near invulnerable because they move so fast and are so powerful.
The final battle of opm should be a fight that makes saitama want to fight again. Like Boros’s prophecy, or when he battled the subterraneans in his dreams.

Plus, Shibabawa's prophecy said "earth...danger", so maybe she meant that earth itself was THE danger, not IN danger. (Who would be in danger are The humans, not The planet itself.
God in the OPM world is like Gaia - a personification of life, the earth and nature. But I still think the prophecy could be interpreted as 'The Earth is in danger.' Consider that both Vaccine Man and Homeless Emporer represent entities endangered by human civilisation - polluted and exploited nature, and the outcast homeless. The Earth IS is danger, and God is giving power to those in danger to fight back. If severe stress is a part of the monsterification process, and being pushed close to death makes you stronger, then the damage humans are inflicting to the earth could have created God.
I really think God is after humanity because one of them broke their limiter, something he imposed on humans to ensure they will never threaten his power, and so his ego wont have to suffer by having a another being out there that can rival his power. Thats why he’s gifting monsters and humans (homeless emperor) the power to wipe out humanity. Essentially he feels threatened and offended.
Definitely that one monster who was scared of King had shape-shifting abilities. Sonic has demonstrated to imitate Saitama to near perfection in a audio book and Psykos also has a ability to take a look of others.
There's only two outcomes that are going to happen if God & Saitama fight. He will either be the final villain and give him the fight Saitama has always been wanting, and Saitama will barely win. Or, he will kill him in one punch. Personally, I'd love for this God character to be hyped as the final villain, only to be killed by one punch. Then we get a random badass from left field, who is basically God + in terms of ranking and is multiverse ending strong, which is the perfect match for Saitama. And Saitama will win by a miracle.

On my uploads of OPM music Extensions I constantly get people commenting on the Garou ones in particular that “SPOILER ALERT - GOD KILLS GAROU” and every time I have to hop in there real quick to state that’s from a FAN COMIC and not canon at all. It’s a constant thing...I’m guessing you’re right it has to be the casual fans spreading this as they don’t know any better. I try to prevent Garou fans from freaking out without spoiling the webcomic (unless I decide to put a spoiler warning and assure them of the truth). He is a fantastic character and is beloved by a lot of folks, so fan comic stuff like that gives needless anxiety for manga or anime only fans.

Due to his pshyiology and powers he pretty much no longer considers himself a human , so in order to destroy humanity and prove himself not part of the human society he joined the monster side, since they are beings that are apart of the human system and kill them
here is the theory. There is multiple gods, maybe "hero" side one and "villain" side one. There is the God opposed the God of homeless man. That creature is the one gave Saitama his power. He gave Saitama power because he is on hero side which the God approve. The homeless emperor was taken away his power because he is not useful enough? Very end of one punch man, the God will take away Saitama's power and how it ends the story. Saitama gets his hair back and has fun in challenging life. Happy ending(?).
I seriously doubt God will be the last villain for Saitama. Saitama's has three struggles: He cannot find thrill in life anymore, he cannot try new things that he may fail at, he doesn't know what to do with his life, whether to be a hero or not. None of those struggles are answered by a battle against God, an entity that is dissapointed in humans and wants to kill them for it. This kind of shonen antagonist is good enough for the rest of the cast since it offers a challenge to their quest for power and their willingness to sacrifice their lives as an act of heroism, but for Saitama it's a no brainer. If I was to guess, I think Saitama's final challenge will be to find something or someone to care about. I think he may even return to being a business man, or find a job he's not good at and learn to embrace challenges. He still would help people physically on the side, but his actual life would be either ordinary or focused on his close relationships. In any case, it *cannot* be a fight. Saitama will always be the Onepunch Man, his apotheosis will not happen when he finds an adversary that can take one of his serious punch, but when he'll accept his fate and go climb another mountain.
Sounds rather lame, because in tecnical perspective "God" maybe the answer to Saitama, i dont think this would even make sense in the universe of One Punch Man that "GOD" is weaker than Saitama, however the writer of this series is stupid so i can't change the fate of this good series which is already going downhill with this foolish mindset of writing.

I think that god was the earth's protector since ancient times. Blast was taking away all the cubes i think those cubes are from the evil god who was standing on the moon. here is the theory.
There is multiple gods, maybe "hero" side one and "villain" side one. There is the God opposed the God of homeless man. That creature is the one gave Saitama his power. He gave Saitama power because he is on hero side which the God approve. The homeless emperor was taken away his power because he is not useful enough? Very end of one punch man, the God will take away Saitama's power and how it ends the story. Saitama gets his hair back and has fun in challenging life. Happy ending(?).

I seriously doubt God will be the last villain for Saitama.
Saitama's has three struggles: He cannot find thrill in life anymore, he cannot try new things that he may fail at, he doesn't know what to do with his life, whether to be a hero or not.
None of those struggles are answered by a battle against God, an entity that is dissapointed in humans and wants to kill them for it. This kind of shonen antagonist is good enough for the rest of the cast since it offers a challenge to their quest for power and their willingness to sacrifice their lives as an act of heroism, but for Saitama it's a no brainer.
If I was to guess, I think Saitama's final challenge will be to find something or someone to care about. I think he may even return to being a business man, or find a job he's not good at and learn to embrace challenges. He still would help people physically on the side, but his actual life would be either ordinary or focused on his close relationships. In any case, it *cannot* be a fight.
Saitama will always be the Onepunch Man, his apotheosis will not happen when he finds an adversary that can take one of his serious punch, but when he'll accept his fate and go climb another mountain.
Sounds rather lame, because in tecnical perspective "God" maybe the answer to Saitama, i dont think this would even make sense in the universe of One Punch Man that "GOD" is weaker than Saitama, however the writer of this series is stupid so i can't change the fate of this good series which is already going downhill with this foolish mindset of writing.

Part of me thinks saitama will find out that his powers were given to him somehow and in the endgame of the series he will look for a way to give it back to get a challenge from his fights again.
