Saitama’s existence perfectly explains why more and more higher level monsters have been popping up all over the world, this chapter basically just confirmed it because of God’s connection to Saitama. I love the direction this whole story is headed to. You also gotta love Genos for sticking up for Saitama even when it’s unnecessary, he’s a priceless friend.

Yes that has to be who the prophecy was about blast would have been the strongest warrior on earth 20 years ago when boros was told that prophecy and thier fight would have probably been more even around that time whereas saitama was way too strong and it wasn't even a challenge.

Boros IS a god level threat. Having the ability to wipe out the surface of the earth is a god level threat. He was just never designated as such cause nobody knows of his existence

The original name for that attack was planet buster roar cannon meaning that boros used that move to wipe out planets possibly even larger than earth since boros himself stated that he traveled the universe ravaging everything it's possible he's encountered planets larger than earth and destroyed them. The attack was later retconned and renamed collapsing star roaring cannon. The manga scan that says wipe you out with the surface is likely a translation error as using a planet buster roar cannon only to wipe out the surface makes no sense. Boros is God level confirmed 100 percent one just didn't want to say that because he's waiting to actually classify somebody God level for the final villian.
These reveal is way impactful than the reveal of black frieza. Thats for sure

From a lore perspective, this may have been the greatest chapter. Seeing the heroes piece together that they met the same being was so satisfying and avoided so many plot contrivances. It’s also refreshing to see many of the heroes piecing together just how powerful Saitama really is. We are in for one hell of a fantastic story!

this chapter was a 15/10, i didn’t expect this to happen till the end of the series but i LOVE the fact everyone is finally learning (albeit slowly) the truth about Saitama. Metal Knight saying he could even be stronger than S class (aka even stronger than blast) makes me happy to know people are legit giving him credit, Metal Knight got me on watch tho 👀
either way this was great, jus wish fubuki or tatsumaki was there to hear the story of Saitama manipulating time and space and sneezing away Jupiter, freakin JUPTER 😂😂
the end of the chapter wrapped it all up nicely, the top tier heroes thinking they may have underestimated the greatest underdog of all time is PEAK FICTION, there, i said it, opm is PEAK FICTION and i’m all for it
keep in mind everything in opm has happened over the course of just 2 months (granted by the timeline given by the old man in the beginning of the chapter), or 65 days to be exact. 2/6 months is only roughly 33%, meaning there’s still nearly 70% of story left presuming we don’t get any major timeskips. Only 4 months left for the prophecy from season 1 ro occur, only 4 months left for the final battle, hype‼️‼️🤩🤩

This MF destroyed part of Jupiter with a sneeze and then caught up to Garou with a damn fart. ONE has definitely been playing this right and can't wait what other ridiculous moves he plans to have Saitama show next.

Ninja leader is the swords man who was with blast in the past and i believe blast fought him because God gave him the offer of power although they were partners . Saitama the last hope of the universe
I’m thinking that blasts friend (that man) also took the power of god during the battle with elder centipede turning on blast. That’s where Blast got the scar on his face from and part of the reason he did not finish off elder centipede.

I’ve always had this theory that part of the reason that Saitama has his power is due to the fact that no matter what he is capable of he will always see himself as a civilian, and God could be interested in this very fact. No matter how much power he gets, Saitama sees himself as a person and not a monster.
Garou says something similar about how Saitama has all that strength but he's not insane or a a monster. The first fight where he could go all out and he got 100x stronger.

For someone that has space-time abilities and could stall and exchange blows with God Garou, I doubt Blast couldnt easily deal with elder centipede. The bruises and all are probably from another battle or just art.
He looks kinda tired when he is looking at god, but that reminds me moment when Tatsumaki looked at the moon and temporarily lost her powers, what allowed Psykos-Orochi to escape. Maybe Blast is experiencing the same thing, but what caused Tatsumaki to cough blood, meade Blast a little sweaty.

No only a single time blast fought with centipede and he literally going to kill him but from nowhere god appears and stop him and start granting him power if god was not there centipede easily killed

I must add it definitely is one of the better written mangas out in terms of writing I’d say it’s top 3 this gen.
I was in total shock when Genos told the participating S-Class heroes who Saitama really is, and then I burst out in laughter when the 4 hrs later panel came in. That's just fantastic writing, and the story is really coming together in such an epic way. I can't wait for what's to come. What a rush!

That's what i am telling... Saitama has been granted power by god. In my opinion. God and saitama is like relationship between silver surfer and galactus in marvel story where the creator gave more power to one person who can destroy the creator itself.

It all make sense now. The only reason why Elder Centipede managed to escape was not because Blast couldn’t finished it, but God appearance distracted him.
What I wish for almost come to fruition. We finally get to see Blast’s past. Next, I hope we will get to learn about who Blast is, where & how did he get his insane powers since it’s confirmed he refuse God’s power. Psychic power is one thing, but space-time (cosmos) manipulation is on a much higher tier.
Either he’s human, or he’s from some sort of celestial race. And I wonder if Blue can do the same thing.
It's also show us pre-awaken Saitama (before he fought Cosmic Fear Garou) much powerful than Blast 2 years ago when he fought Elder Centipede because he just one punch Elder Centipede..

I kind of think a requirement to be in blast's group (the Saints?) is to have been someone to reject God's power. I think when Tatsumaki refused it, Blast took notice and could potentially grant her a rank into their group eventually.
Nah. Maybe later in the future when Tat is stronger but rn, she’s not even a God level threat, only high dragon. Another way to think of it is if you can’t stay up against CF Garou, you’re not fit to join the group cause Tat would get mopped. She can’t even beat Boros on her own.

Wont happen. Theres a reason why he left earth to go scavenge for cubes with his comic allies. He trusts tatsumaki to handle the threats he goes against soley. Which is evident considering she beat Pyskorochi which was given divine power.

Something seems off: the ninja leader is said to be at least more than 300 years old in the webcomic. We know that some monsters can keep their human form, so maybe he switched back to his human form when he found out that Blast was aware of the existence of God and tried to stop him.
Stitch said that Blast starts to fight against God 20 years ago. The ninja leader has been put in a coma for 15 years, so 5 years after he theorically met Blast... and ONLY 2 years ago, he met God.
We're still missing some parts of the puzzle but I think we're getting somewhere
tbf it's already explained that he had extensive use of grafting to extend his life and to give him more power

Imagine Saitama Consciousness is split between realities, that’s why he was a business man before he received his powers and after he kind of seemed like looking off into the distance, like mentally blanking out. The Boros lookalike guy in blast's crew might actualy be Boros himself. Since Blast has the power to manipulate cosmos itself, Boros in their crew might have actually fought Blast resulting in 2 realities. One : where the alien's prophecy came true and boros fought an worthy opponent (Blast)
Two : the propecy didn't come true and Boros didn't fight Blast resulting in him getting beaten by saitama

I think the reason why God's influence increased at the same time Saitama broke his limiter his because when Saitama achieved that he might've poked a hole in the barrier between his dimension and God and God's power is slowly trickling in.
That's actually a great theory or just that Saitama insane power drew god to our dimension in general . But yeah maybe your right maybe Saitama broke a hole in reality on accident or something

Thing is, if Saitama is the reason behind the manifestation of God, I think he would have recognized Saitama or atleast sense his true strength when they "talked". And especially when Saitama made direct contact with the cube.
My theory is Blast's power of time space manipulation being effective against God is half-true. Think of a Wobbuffet, the ultimate defense being able to defect any damage back at the attacker, but it lack true power. If Blast was truly having that much difficulty against a younger-Elder Centipede, it might not be a far reach that we'll see Saitama and Blast, offense and defense, having a go at God for the ending of OPM.
Off topic, but wobbuffet deflected back one of giratinas fukin attacks and doubled it so I ain't doubting you 😂

I can't believe I haven't seen anyone mention this but that's how blast got that scar on his face!! You can see in the panel vs centipede and God that his face is bloody and its right where blasts scar is
I'ma be dead honest, that doesn't make sense, not saying your wrong but, if centipede did that, blast head shouldn't be attached , because his arms or whatever you call centipede legs, is the size of a whole building. Maybe it wasn't just centipede, Again not doubting you.

And somehow during that battle blast got beat up and his face is bloody, as shown in the panel. And there's a gash right where blast has that scar on his face. There were some fan theories on maybe blast is Garou because they have the same scar on their face and blast can time travel but that's not true because he got the scar in the fight with elder and god. To me its just cool they finally revealed how blast got his face scar
