Hey folks - a few destinations you might fancy visiting this year. Every year it’s getting harder to find those gems so get cracking and let me know on insta if you managed to visit
We have visited Vaduz & Balzers Lichtenstein several times & really enjoyed climbing to the castles in both towns. Soooo gorgeous there!! It is a quick 30-45 minute drive from the neighboring Canton of Glarus, Switzerland. We stayed in the town of Nafels which was cost effective. Our Airbnb was about $80/night. The Glarus area is also a hidden gem. Huge vertical mountains, lots of farms, chalets, cable cars & hiking opportunities. Very few tourists visit from outside the country. We love it!🇨🇭👍🏼
Vaduz is well nice isn’t it … that’s a pretty good price because I know they love to bump it up just to keep it less touristy. So I think I got a good deal especially for the location
I much prefer these hidden gems videos, and the ones that highlight second or third cities. Also the the ones that feature the best value destinations in Europe, factoring in safety as well.
if in Rome and you fancy a break from the chaos, Lago Albano about 40 minutes by train. there are a number of villages around this spectacularly beautiful volcanic crater lake and the area is almost completely unspoiled by modern developers. yet still plenty of shops and restaurants to keep one busy and fed.
I mentioned Corsica as a possible winter destination, last week. It would be worth doing a video on Corsica I think, highlighting the attractions and discussion cost vs. Provence and the French Riviera.
