    The squirrel could probably outrace the weasel, particularly jumping from branch to branch in a tree.
    But on the ground, the weasel would exhaust the squirrel, and then move in for the kill.

    • @bent540
      @bent540 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      lol the squirrel can do this all day! why the fuck do you think it stick around? because its not even afriad! when stoats and weasels hunt they are infact in hte process of starving to death! if they dont catch prey several times per day they die! they burn out!
      lol, do you think its easier for a squirrel to jump around in tress and climb up and down all day than just fuckiing running on the ground?
      what the fuck is wrong with your brain?

    I don't know who won as I had to leave. However, I never found any squirrel remains nor blood on the snow so I expect that the ermine gave up.

  • @TheAzmountaineer
    @TheAzmountaineer 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Persistent and blood-thirsty little SOB's, aren't they? I've seen this kind of chase before and it almost always ends the same way. The stoat usually wears down the stupid squirrel - which could easilly escape by jumping tree-to-tree, but likes to do this circling thing - and locks on to his throat. Game over.

    • @blackforest_fairy
      @blackforest_fairy 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Bloodthirsty? You mean hungry, I guess? As nature wanted it to be this cute little things are predators and need to hunt in order to life... I am kind of sorry for the squirrel though...

    • @BadlndsBob
      @BadlndsBob 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I was also thinking the squirrel could jump tree to tree to evade the weasel/ ermine. I recently saw another TH-cam video where the squirrel did just that and the weasel fell many feet to the ground after missing the same jump.
