    Kramnik is likely just doing this because he feels irrelevant. These streamers gets far more fame than he ever had outside of Russia despite being in his mind likely unworthy due to being worse players. He cant handle that situation nor handle the fact of him losing to younger players due to him no longer being at his peak. Its all about ego and not about protecting chess.

    If there are concerns about players cheating, then fine, have them investigated and deal with them in the appropriate manner. Not go around needlessly trashing a player's reputation in public before that has even taken place. That does no one any favors and doesn't project the entire online chess community in positive light either.

    Yes, in video games there are often creative ways to convict ch3aters using certain methods. In chess the excuse is always "that was intuition and the move cannot be explained".
    I can only recommend that people watch the biggest scandals in video game history by Karl Jobst or "the biggest ch3ting scandal in track mania history" and so on and then go back to Kramnik and listen to everything. And then you should compare Danya's behavior with that of ch3aters who have already been convicted.
    Of course you can never be 100% sure. But there is a lot of circumstantial evidence against Danya and it is his reaction to Kramnik's entirely justified criticism that has brought me more into the "Kramnik camp". I am now very sure that Danya is a ch3ater.

      To me personally this video was made to make fun of Kramnik and to show how stupid he is. That's why I did not like it. The mission of Kramnik is important for chess (even if he is not right on everything).
      If other players like Nakamura would support Kramnik in the fight against cheaters instead of insulting him with "f*ck off", then the chess would become cleaner much quicker. What Nakamura is doing? Nothing. So, I don't understand such behaviour. And I don't understand videos promoting such behaviour.

      @itaintinnit หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      He's not crazy in the absolute sense of the word. I always think of a true crazy person to be something like: "their range of actions at any given moment is so big, you can't even remotely predict them." You can't establish a baseline. At any point they can go from having a relaxed chat with you about the weather, to then try to stab you in the gut with a pen they're holding in their hand. That's a truly crazy person.
      In the loose sense of the word, the way people use it casually, it can fit Kramnik, but I think "delusional" is better. In a vacuum, Kramnik makes some reasonable points, and can be totally correct, so I think it's clear that he can think, and think relatively well. Kramniks problem though, is his ego. He's aware enough to see possible psychological mechanisms and motivations of others, and attempts to analyze them, but he's not aware enough of his own psychological (defense) mechanisms that his mind is constantly using to deal with arguments from others and to solve internal conflicts. That's where he's truly lacking: maturity, and in this way, also wisdom.
      From this, and the recent (translated) "debate" in Russian, I can reasonably build a personality profile, where I think it's very likely Kramnik rarely, if ever, admits fault, or apologizes. This is a general take, and not specific to chess. I suspect his children will have experienced this side of him. Having had a father myself who never admitted fault or said sorry until I managed to break through to him by sheer persistence (and love, I think the love part was the most important bit), and we both matured together, I can definitely see how easily this could fit Kramnik.
