This is such a helpful presentation! I have ADHD and PTSD, and as a result I have dissociated from my body since I was a child. I’ve always said I didn’t “feel” like I had a body, until it was screaming at me. I’ve lived in my head most of my life, which is a recipe for disaster. I love how she mentioned that it relates to our “sense of self” because I have also felt like I did not fully form a “sense of self”. I’ve been stuck in this weird stage not understanding how to progress. This is life changing information. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Fantastic talk, well done. Everybody should know this. It should be taught in schools, so we can all self regulate and become healthy adults.

I had no idea people could feel their own heartbeat unless it was going really crazy.

To achieve full connection with my body. Become my singular mind-body self. This is where my cptsd healing has led me. Great talk. A superpower indeed. 😂

I love this topic - EPIC model is Cool model releted to INTEROCEPTION but i Like MAIA - noticing without trusting = ANXIETY, noticing and being color blind for emotions and sensations is somatoform disorder, and I Like EDER model for explaining how you can help yourself if you Are misinterpreting cues by actually not doing anything and Just let your Brain that can do 100 billion calculation per sec. do his thing - Just step aside and let natural processing of emotions happen with a smile on your face! And there is S-REF that also can add metacognitive belifes that Are cousing us pain to be revieled :)
