    If you have the Dango M1, what do you find to be the best and least liked feature?

      The key slot is for a key , however that’s not why it’s there, it’s there for the clasp tool , to latch the wallet shut

      @@dewroc66 Check out this tutorial from Dango. At 2:19 they demostrate this flap as a key holder.

    Have to admit, at first I was like "wait, where's Mark?", but it's awesome that your daughter is getting involved with the channel, she did great. Keep it up guys.

    Nice to have a woman's view, I love slim wallets, I don't get when women carry a big purse around, minimalist is the way forward! I typically carry around 10 cards and struggle to find a minimalist wallet to hold them.i usually end up with a "rubber band" type but find the bands split after about 10 month-a year with use. I don't like a bulky leather wallet tho, metal/hybrid all the way! Nice to be doing a bit of you tube research with a women's perspective 👍

    Love the a Sydney review! Hope to hear more from you. I go between my jacket pocket, backpack, and yes, when necessary, a purse/pocketbook.

    Great review, and honest opinion, the place were you put the key 🔑, is also were you can order a multi clasp hook to put in place to hold the flap down from flopping open. But I am pretty sure you new that. One thing I like about the wallet is that you can customize the wallet the way you want. Overall awsome! Review. 😊👍

    The "key slot" on this particular wallet appears to be a hold over from the more tactical versions of the M1 Maverick, normally that would be were the MT01 clasp fits but doesn't appear to be included in this version

    • @walletopia
      @walletopia  5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Agreed, in usage videos they’ve used this as a key but for the MT01 they do have the clasp fit there. Clever way to use it as a feature when no clasp is there.

    • @nojodash
      @nojodash 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You can get the clasp separately as an add on for this.

    I have the bifold M1 Maverick Spec Ops in Desert Sand and DTEX with the multi-tools. I FREAKIN'LOVE IT. I carry only 6 cards; the rest are in my phone under Google Pay. The wallet is so compact and I've even gotten compliments on it.

    The key slot is useless for a key But Dango makes a multi-tool, the MT-01, that also functions as a clasp to keep the wallet closed. This can be added by the user & it utilizes this key slot. The newer Spec-ops Dtex 4 pocket comes with this feature. I have the Spec-ops Dtex and the clasp/tool works very well to keep contents secure. Only drawback is you do have to open the clasp to use the thumb push. That is not a problem for me. Once you get used to it, it becomes an automatic action.

    1:49 Is it possible to keep dollar bills folded in half in the wallet using the strap? I don't understand why so many wallets don't make a slight increase in the width where the strap is so cash can be carried folded in half. It is so much more convenient and allows much, much more cash to be carried vs. folding in quarters or thirds.

    They key slot is from the tactical wallet and is where the multi tool goes. Great videos!!

      Also probably more suited for a cuff key, considering this was designed to hold a duty badge in the back slot as well.

    The slot on the front is not a key slot. Dango actually sells a tethered buckle that inserts into that slot that helps keep the wallet closed. The buckle itself also double as a multi tool.

    Omg did you ever check out their site that so called extra piece of material is for adding a multi tool that acts as a closure that connects to the frame of the wallet and keeps it from flapping around, and those “pins” they are Allen screws. That is the M1 Maverick bifold they also have the M1 Maverick single pocket and the M1 rail wallet

      Thanks Scott, yes indeed. When we did this review in 2019, it wasn't really clear at the time on their site. What I like is how their designs continue to accommodate additional offerings as they go.

    I wonder why this product doesn't have a mark that it is made in USA.
    Some companies are so proud to put it in their product.
    Or maybe it's just assembled in the US that's why they are not allowed to say made in the US.
    You can only read designed in California which is typical for chinese made asembled in the USA.
