So I have my planned CS in a few weeks and I’m so freaked out about the same exact experience you had. Like I already have bad health anxiety and panic and for me the idea of complete numbness and not being able to move is a sensation I cannot wrap my head around. OB said they could give a little something to calm you just before baby comes out - so hopefully anesthesia agrees. I know they worry about baby being more sleepy with those meds, but if they have to put me under with general because I’m losing my mind it’ll be the same outcome .. I know I’ll get through it regardless, but it’s such a freaky experience that I’m not looking forward to. But I’m glad to you and baby are healthy.
