Something about the tone of Helldivers reminds me a lot of Lethal Company. Goofy dystopia. I really enjoyed your Starfield fridge video so i was super excited to see you covering Helldivers 2 too
See me and my buddies were taking the game really serious then I got in a group with a black dude and him bitching while dying was the funniest shit I’ve ever experienced. After that I stopped being a sweaty try hard and just took the game as it is. It probably helps I’m level 45 and have most of the shit so I’m only really worried about just completing medals so I can finish the war bonds or getting super credits. You made a good point of the fact dying in this game has almost no consequences and once you realize that you can have so much more fun. Nothing is better than getting a swarm of bugs on you away from an objective to throw down a cluster bomb on yourself and get a 35 kill streak and save your friends from being overwhelmed.

yeah I never got into the Lethal Company scene but it does feel like it shares a lot of the same humor based around your casual expendability lol
