I have a Plasma on my Note 5. I love these cases. I'll be getting the Crimson Monarch for the Note 8. The nice thing is a couple of TH-camrs have tested the UAG cases with the Whitestone Tempered Glass screen protector and while the Plasma failed (lifted one of the corners) the Monarch , which is cut differently, passed. So I'll be rocking one of the best cases and the best screen protectors out there.
The Monarch looks WAY better, but I typically go for the thinner cases so they can fit into my suit pants without looking like I have a tumor growing on my thigh
I have the clear plasma and love it. I purchased the orchid gray phone, so I get to enjoy the color I chose without covering it up, while protecting my phone pretty thoroughly, as well.
I am self-employed and use two different card readers. Some cases are too thick and block the contact. How do these cases work with credit card readers such as square and clover?

I have a white UAG on my Note 3. For being almost 4 years old, it's still looks new. My phone has been through a dozen drops. Some on concrete/asphalt and with two cracked tempered glass screens. My note 3 came through it all unscathed. I will be getting a Plasma for my Note 8 coz I'm cool like that.
On the Plasma case it's easy to locate and distinguish all the buttons by feel. I wish more case reviews would pay attention to this. If I'm casting Netflix in a dim room, I don't want to have to turn the lights on to find the volume rocker on my phone.
Could you do a video on when the phone is in plasma vs monarch when you put your phone inside your jeans and pants, to see how thick is it inside front pocket. Thanks.
Would have been good to have seen a more thorough, run through of the phone's functionality whilst the cases were attached ... I was hoping to see how well the side bar function from the curved sides work with the cases. Maybe another quick video? Just a thought. Anyways always a fan and look forward to your next video.

Abdulatif Alshatti That's because at the time of the unveiling, it was 256GB that was the largest MicroSD card available. Now that there's a 400GB MicroSD card available, it can be expanded up to that. It theoretically goes up to 2TB, but we don't have MicroSD cards of that capacity just yet.

1:58min It seems like the high top bottom lip and four corners would hit the ground first so it would protect the sides. Left and right sides phone glass is unable to touch the floor when using the case.

Would you try those with screen protectors? I bought the Plasma when I got my Note 8 and can't use it because no protector works with it so far.

The UAG plasma ice will not work with a glass screen protector. The corners are too far in.
