    I bought mine last month and i love it. i had been cutting my lawn at 3 inches. the first cut i set it to the highest setting of 2.8 inches. then the next cut to 2.6 inches. now it keep it at 2.4 inches and thats perfect. when you first get your luba remember it is not a mulching mower. you will have clumps of grass as you get it to the height you want but once you are there it will keep it there nicely. i run mine every other day at 3 am and wake up to a perfectly cut lawn

    Thanks for this review. It is one of the most helpful I have seen for this lawn mower!

    Great review Bro👍🏾 I'm sold, gonna get one of these when my Husqvarna goes out. The no boundary wire, is what really sold me.

      Awesome. I just received their Luba v2 and I've only messed around with it for 1 day, but so far, I'm impressed. Hopefully the review video will be out before the end of the month.

    This is a fairly thorough review; I like the way that you tested its features, such as with a "rain" test with the hose and a fake "no-go" zone with the blocks.

    I ordered my Luba AWD 1000 in May, but after three months, I have not received it yet. When I email support, I only get vague information, asking me to be patient. I've paid $2,000 and haven't received anything, especially no clear information. The latest update was the end of August, but when I ordered, it was mid to end of June. I strongly recommend not buying without a delivery guarantee.

      Thanks for sharing Fredrik. When I have time, I'll try to get the person I've been working with to reach out to you and see if they can help as I would be upset myself if I was in the same situation. I cannot make any guarantees they'll be able to solve your issue, but I'll do what I can from my side to at least make them aware of your comment here.

    Excellent and detailed. Thank you. $2K is a good $1K less than the roughly equivalent EcoFlow and Husqvarna robotic mowers and it seems to have the same advertised features while actually handling the considerably sloped areas of your lawns.

    I ordered mine for fathers day. I think i received it in about 3 weeks to a month. It's now August and the website still says paid but not fulfilled! There is definitely some issues there, but hang in there... it will come and you'll love it! Just don't be like that other TH-camr who dropped his and then complained it broke! Take care of it and it will do lots of mowing for you!

    Very cool! How long does it take to cut both the front and back yard?

    • @GreenTechTown
      @GreenTechTown  ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends on the type of cut you chose in the app. If you chose an efficient cut, it may only take a 30-40min. If you chose a cut that mows horizontally and vertically, it could take possibly 1-2 hours.

    Excellent Review. I am very interested in giving this a try. I wish the company would offer a trial (try before you buy) option so I can confirm that this product is for me prior to making a purchase, especially at that purchase price.

    Ever considered to load the mower with solar-power?

    • @GreenTechTown
      @GreenTechTown  ปีที่แล้ว

      That would be interesting. I can see someone installing a DC to AC inverter for their small solar system and then just plugging the charging base into the inverter.

    In fact, what we see in all the test videos of wireless installations is that the lawn mower robot is being tested on a very flat lawn. In fact, we would rather see how the lawn mower works when there are obstacles, such as many trees or other obstacles on the lawn. Can the lawn mower robot cleverly avoid obstacles?
    We also want to see if the GPS wireless signal of the machine will be affected under the shade of trees. In cloudy conditions, such as many dark clouds. Will the GPS signal also be affected? Speaking of which, can machines go out to work on rainy days? These are all very important, and if the machine can only cut grass on sunny days, there will be many restrictions
    If there is a swimming pool on the lawn and the lawn has a certain slope to the pool, there is a certain slope. Will the lawn mower robot fall into the swimming pool uncontrollably under the influence of gravity?
    All the tested lawns are very ideal, but what we would prefer to see in such a high priced robot is that it does not require wiring, but can it achieve more powerful functions beyond that?
    Can anyone who has actually used this Luba robot give real feedback?

    J'ai acheté la tondeuse Luba 1 que j'ai commencé à tester. Franchement, j'ai perdu mon argent : elle n'est pas du tout adaptée pour mon terrain pentu arboré. Sur les pentes de 25°, elle patine, glisse. Dès qu'il y a un petit creux dans la terre, c'est compliqué car la carrosserie touche le sol. Quand il y a une petite branche de 1cm de diamètre au sol tombé d'un arbre, la branche se coince sous la tondeuse. Donc, oui, c'est un 4x4 qui permet de gravir des petites pentes bien entretenues. Mais c'est uniquement valable pour les beaux gazons. Si des taupes, des lapins ou pire, des sangliers passent dans votre jardin, cette tondeuse ne convient pas du tout à cause des petites roues et du faible espace entre la carrosserie et le sol. Pour celui qui comme moi a 20% de pente sur son terrain, beaucoup d'arbres, avec des plats et des zones plus pentues, que je mette l'antenne RTK en bas du terrain, ou en haut ou au milieu, c'est pareil, le positionnement est imprécis. par exemple, j'enregistre la zone de tonte, et quand j'ai fini ma boucle, si je lance la tonte pour voir, et bien le smartphone me dit que le robot est en dehors de sa zone de tonte, alors qu'il est dedans, ceci juste parce que l'antenne rtk n'est pas visible depuis la tondeuse. Egalement, le logiciel n'autorise pas de tondre une zone de moins de 5m², or malheureusement, je n'arrive pas à enregistrer plus de 4,8 m² à un endroit de mon terrain. Au final, mon terrain mesure environ 2000 m² et pour l'instant, je n'arrive à tondre avec le Luba que 25 m² de terrain plat. J'espère obtenir de meilleurs résultats en taillant le tronc d'un sapin pour y mettre l'antenne rtk en hauteur, mais je doute que ça puisse vraiment résoudre le problème. Pour l'instant, un achat à plus de 3000€ pour 25m² tondu, avec beaucoup de temps passé pour trouver en vain des solutions, comme enterrer le câble d'alimentation dans une gaine, quelle déception ! Donc, je trouve qu'il y a beaucoup de vidéos trompeuses présentant la "merveilleuse tondeuse Luba" dont je doute vraiment de la sincérité et de l'indépendance. Les autres robots tondeuses ne sont peut-être pas mieux. Je corrigerai mon commentaire si j'obtiens de meilleurs résultats.

    why do you even have a lawn? put in a perennial garden with native plants that you don't need to mow, looks a lot better, doesn't need nearly as much water, and supports biodiversity

    you got a machine to do what animals can do for less, that doesnt produce anything, to cut your lawn that also doesnt produce anything?

    • @GreenTechTown
      @GreenTechTown  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Haha, yeah I've seen people use animals to help maintain the grass on a farm or something similar. I do like that this mower allows me to focus my time spent on other tasks and so far seems to have low maintenance. I always say, do what works best for you, and that is the best way. I support either route. Thanks for sharing and watching!
