Great collection ya started there. I have several of these, but I'm very surprised you don't have the stealthy survival horror-ish game, *A Plague Tale Requiem.* It's a direct sequel to *A Plague Tale Innocence,* which is a PS4 game with a free upgrade to PS5. My main problem with Forbidden West was all the things on the map to do that you couldn't do because you didn't have the right equipment yet. Then you go back and do the thing later, and the reward is a minor treasure chest. So I skipped a lot of that stuff until I started New Game+ Other than that, I loved it as much as Zero Dawn
Yeah, by the time I got the loot it was all weaker than my late game equipment or I got parts for something I had no use for. That map is littered with locked loot like that.
I really want you to be on 1 Million SUBSCRIBERS by the end of 2023. I've seen TH-camrs with 1M, however your content is much better. What I mean by that, is that you are simple and well presented. You lift up my mood, and I am 100% sure you lift many other people and I love that. You are always helping people on ways to collect too. Regardless you get 1M by the end of this year, but you honestly need it. It's been too long. Take care🤙🏻

Ironically, you cannot play PS5 disc games directly from the disc. Instead the PS5 offload most if not all data from the disc to the SSD turning the disc essentially into a physical license key in order to play. I also got the PS5 disc version without knowing this. Had I known, I would have gotten the digital version and saved some money.
@@flubber788 game console have been doing this since the PS4...even the switch has to do it with most of their games. Did you skip the whole last generation?
This is a very common misconception. The reason why games need to do that nowadays is because disc read speeds are much, much slower than SSD read speeds which allow games to load and render assets a loooot faster. If the full game is on the disc, it can be installed into the SSD without any internet connection.
Majority of PS4 games play from disc. Until the games get updated with gigabytes of data bigger than the size of the original game on the disc. Then comes the ps4 games that were released a 2-3 years ago requiring day one updates (most like just more data required to play). But there are good number of ps4 games that play without internet and without updates.
Not me, 60 dollars for a game Ive beaten over 10 times in the past 5 years? Give me a break they are stealing your money. Crysis remastered trilogy I just spent 30 bucks on, i get the entire trilogy for half the price. Oh and giving us Dead space 2 download code from 2011 is pathetic, its almost as bad as that time Activision bubdled Black ops 1 download codes into BO3 last gen cuz they knew how shit the game was on last gen and wanted to a quick, cheap way out.

@@MetalJesusRocks you know i always wanted to ask you. What do you think of the PS5 or the future of it. It's still hard to find to this day and a few years have passed not many people got their hands on it. Will Sony postpone an eventual ps6 to let the PS5 stretch it's legs or do you think they'll just go with the same 6/7 years console gen change like nothing happened?
Great collection ya started there. I have several of these, but I'm very surprised you don't have the stealthy survival horror-ish game, *A Plague Tale Requiem.* It's a direct sequel to *A Plague Tale Innocence,* which is a PS4 game with a free upgrade to PS5.
They take place in 1300's France, during the French Inquisition, but with a supernatural twist (with rats).
Awesome stuff. I highly recommend them both. A.P.T: Innocence is my 2022 G.o.T.Y., in fact.
I just got my PS5 5 months ago and already have 35 games for it.
@TokyoFool I know that, and I don't care. I'm glad that you know now though, it's in your head. It should give you a good idea that I am going to have a lot more PS5 games than MJR, despite him being a big name TH-camr.
I’ve been having an amazing time with Death Stranding on ps5. Was looking for something to fill the void after I finished the ff7 remake and this game has been one of the funnest experiences I’ve had gaming. It’s so unique!
Awesome video metal jesus! Sucks to hear you're not super into Yurukill but I think if you give it another shot going in knowing it's part visual novel part shmup, you might enjoy it more. There's a pretty solid story in there and it's a great mashup of two genres.
Immortal Phoenix Rising was really fun yeah! I started playing it and wasn't expecting much. One day later I was like "yeah I'll try to go for the platinum. 😋
My main problem with Forbidden West was all the things on the map to do that you couldn't do because you didn't have the right equipment yet. Then you go back and do the thing later, and the reward is a minor treasure chest. So I skipped a lot of that stuff until I started New Game+
Other than that, I loved it as much as Zero Dawn
Yeah, by the time I got the loot it was all weaker than my late game equipment or I got parts for something I had no use for. That map is littered with locked loot like that.
I really want you to be on 1 Million SUBSCRIBERS by the end of 2023. I've seen TH-camrs with 1M, however your content is much better. What I mean by that, is that you are simple and well presented. You explain so true, and you are always honest with your reviews. If the game is good, you say the game is good. If the game is bad, you say the game is bad. You lift up my mood, and I am 100% sure you lift many other people and I love that. You are always helping people on ways to collect too. Regardless you get 1M by the end of this year, but you honestly need it. It's been too long. Take care🤙🏻
The disregard for Demon's souls ;(
I have a 3rd car that’s been sitting in my driveway for about 3 weeks now. The car needs a new battery. It’s a 2012 so I wanted shopped around to find the cheapest battery I could buy. I saw Walmart had it for $40 cheaper than most places. I finally found the time to go into Walmart. But instead of walking out with a battery, I walked out with a PS5 instead.
Definitely tons of hidden gems! Great video!
I would suggest checking out the following games:
1. Control
2. Hades
3. Kena: Bridge Of Spirit
4. Medium
5. The Pathless
6. Sackboy A Big Adventure
7. Subnautica Bellow Zero
Lol @ Suckboy haha
Sackboy a big adventure*
@@tavorabrown3622 the original post has now been edited and corrected. That was funny tho.
@@adamyo9003 ok good cuz "suckboy"....noooo💀
GT7 is a heckuva game, despite being online only. I've had a ton of fun with it.
The Xbox 360 allowed for direct playing straight from the disk
@@flubber788 game console have been doing this since the PS4...even the switch has to do it with most of their games. Did you skip the whole last generation?
@@kcadventures1454 yes
This is a very common misconception. The reason why games need to do that nowadays is because disc read speeds are much, much slower than SSD read speeds which allow games to load and render assets a loooot faster. If the full game is on the disc, it can be installed into the SSD without any internet connection.
Majority of PS4 games play from disc. Until the games get updated with gigabytes of data bigger than the size of the original game on the disc. Then comes the ps4 games that were released a 2-3 years ago requiring day one updates (most like just more data required to play). But there are good number of ps4 games that play without internet and without updates.
Metal Jesus recommendations are always on point
Who’s excited for dead space remake!?!
hell yeah! i can't wait to play after work!
THIS GUY 👍
Not me, 60 dollars for a game Ive beaten over 10 times in the past 5 years? Give me a break they are stealing your money. I mean for god sake, they didnt even have the gull to give us the entire trilogy for that price point....just Dead Space 1 which has no multiplayer.
@@MidniteMeatBus 👍🏼
Hopefully Better than the calisto protocol. That game was garbage.
Smurfs indeed 😁😁👍 playing Forspoken now ✌️ great video as always.
Thanks! 😁
I would love to see Rock Star Games remake or Remaster PS3 Midnight Club Los Angeles Complete Edition - PS2 Midnight Club 3: Dub Edition Games for the PS5, Xbox Series X & maybe the Nintendo Switch That would be so cool!!!!
bought mine for Armored Core... *Returnal* was also a big selling point, and it completely OWNS!
Just bought a PS5. Haven't had one since PS2. This console deserves the hype. Ghosts, Spider-Man, PS Plus Premium, Forspoken... all great. Having this and Series X makes for excellent gaming
Same here haven't had one since ps2
Road 96 you will absolutely love it.. I played through it a couple time and will go back to it again
If you played Steep, Riders Republic isnt so overwhelming, but i totally understand that observation. Returnal is so good i am really blown away by it. It reminds me of contra, or a shmup as far as gameplay aspects of the weapons and enemy attacks etc...
So good to have you back to your normal upload schedule. Hope everything healed up okay!
Kena bridge of spirits. A must buy for collectors. No shenanigans. A hidden gem IMO
Kena is awesome
You're sounding good Jesus. Thanks for the video.
Gonna wait for the Slim PS5 before jumping on the boat. And MechWarrior 5 Mercs looks awesome.
Really helpful bunch of suggestions there. Thank you. Ghost of Tsushima looks like something worth christening my new PS5 with . . . Ooh, it’s so hard to choose!
Dude! I want a physical copy of ROLW Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth! I LOVED that game. I need to see the anime sometime. Thanks for featuring it. I didn't know it had a physical release.
I'm happy getting my PS5 several months ago right now I only have 18 games but a system. I absolutely love playing Gardens of the Galaxy, Returnal, Death Stranding: Director's Cut, Spider-Man: Miles Morales and surprisingly Stray! Awesome video man. There's quite a lot of games I would like to get more.😉👍
Returnal is a 💎 of a game. The co-op is so much fun.
can 2 players caan play simultaneously
@@varcre167 yes and i recommend it that way.
Great Collection 😊
I'm the Same i also Love getting my Ps5 Games on disc. With the new dead space Remake i own now 40 Ps5 Games 😄
I just played Control and I liked kind of X-Files vibe of it. But PS5 console will be later on my buying list. And of course, Alan Wake with those weird TV series remind me of twilight TV-series in the old days...
yeah man a new video from the almighty metaljesus !!!
Whenever i hear a videogame channel call it Tah-sheema it blows my mind. Almost as bad as hearing someone call Mario, Mare-rio lol
I can't stand people that say Mary-Oh 😂
I Love immortals fenyx rising! Really hope they make another
Finally the episode I have been waiting for.
havent wwatched the vids in a min but still find you entertaining
Ratchet Clank Rift Apart😍👍🔥
Don't feel bad Metal Jesus...I think when we get past 40 as gamers we become grumpy old gamers and our taste change and patience for certain games that we used to love and have time for years ago.
Loved Fenyx Rising 😍
its funny how you mention you kind of split yourself between the Series X and the PS5. Its both a blessing and a curse having both main consoles this gen. Like i want to main my PS5 becasue i think i like it slightly more than the xbox but then i go and pick up a bunch of games on the xbox. Then im like, man i wouldnt mind platinuming this game darn! A bunch of other scenarios too. I do love that all the systems at the moment are badass.
I couldn’t get into Death Loop either, you out more time into it then I did. Forbidden West I also agree with you on. I liked the first game much more & haven’t been able to bring myself to finish it.
Great review thanks
I have about 12 PS5 games and I've had my system for about a year now. I've been having lots of fun with it and Ghost of Tsushima is my favorite game on the system so far!
What!!!!! Riders republic… look at that chaos😂🎉😂
I must be trippin'! How the hell did I forget to watch the new metal jesus this morning like I always do. Its 4pm now! LOL
PS5 first two years has honestly been much better than the PS4’s first two years.
Ghost of Tsushima has one of the best environments in gaming... Great video as always MJR!
Love to see a new vid after making some coffee this morning
Morning!
I loved Ghost of Tsushima so much 💯 im also playing Horizon Forbidden West right now for the 1st time (on PS+ Extra) & its got me hooked
I’m the same way with Horizon Forbidden west, it didn’t catch me and I absolutely loved the first one
Hi MJ, nice video, thanks.
You should put some more game sound in your video.
In this case im addressing this because i really felt the sound of the game 'Obersver' was missing out here.
When you hear Rutger Hauer talk with his deep detective voice it just expresses the game so much better.
I finally got another PS5 this time its the slim disc edition and i absolutely love it me and my wife play it every night after work
Spider Man & Spider Man MM are the best games I've played in years
Wow sir you have a great collection
Thank you kindly
Ghost of Tsushima is amazing 😍💙🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼 one of my all time favorites now…. Pretty much samurai version of Red Dead
Crash Team Racing is the best for PS4 & still great to play with friends on PS5. A friend got a 85" TV and then splitscreen x4 is very nice
