The BEST Tag Fly Nymph | The Thread Frenchie! | Fly Tying Tuesday's Ep. 19

This has been hands down my most effective tag fly nymph that I have been using this last year. You can tie this in a variety of different colors and sizes. this particular variation has been excellent for my tag nymphs as its very small with a light bead on it. Tie some of these up and give them a shot!

Nice fly but not a tag nymph as it has no tag. A tag would have typically 3/4 strands of Globrite floss or similar instead of the CDL tail

@@gnomestudent you are correct about the tag tail; however in this case, it is a “tag” dropper on a euronymphing system
