I remember watching a video where Eminem was on Lil Wayne’s podcast and both of them said how hard it was to write rhymes now because they’ve been rapping for so long that they’re running out of things to say because they never want to say the same thing twice. Meanwhile today’s rappers (not all but many) can’t even be original because they’re recycling lines created by ill rappers that came before them, not that it hasn’t been done in the past because obviously it has but for some reason it feels different now, I guess it’s just more noticeable because of the lack of talent in hip hop now. If you’re not familiar with hip hop from the 90’s through the early 2000’s you need to do yourself a favor and listen, I promise you’ll be blown away.
