Warner Bros. Pictures presents “The Flash,” directed by Andy Muschietti. Ezra Miller reprises their role as Barry Allen in the DC Super Hero’s first-ever standalone feature film. Worlds collide in “The Flash” when Barry uses his superpowers to travel back in time in order to change the events of the past. But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no Super Heroes to turn to. That is, unless Barry can coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian… albeit not the one he’s looking for. Ultimately, to save the world that he is in and return to the future that he knows, Barry’s only hope is to race for his life. The trailer is pure🔥 Supergirl looks amazing and I hope it isn’t a one-off. Michael Keaton as Batman and in action sequences is great. The real treat for me is Michael Shannon as Zod; one of the best DCEU villains…such a great actor 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾😎

@@JamesThePokemonHunter uh, I’d love to say Gal is staying ,but that has not been announced and by all accounts gunn has gotten rid of her too, he cut her scenes from the flash. Where did you hear otherwise? Also at the time this move was made, Sasha was the new supergirl, and again , even Grace Randolph said she is not the new supergirl … so Gunn has ruined everything that was going to start fixing the DC. Affleck, Cavill we’re back , we had a new super girl , we had Keaton as a secondary Batman from another time line …Gunn will fail

They were too far in production to recast and reshoot and it’s a big film they sunk so much money in as is that they can’t afford to spend more at the point they are at.

I won't lie. The movie probably won't matter on the grand scheme of Gunn's new vision. But the new Super Girl design in the trailer, I can dig it. Looks really cool and I'd love to see that design continued.

Barry's mom's death is like the Wayne's deaths, fixed points that HAVE to happen for the timeline
Funny enough, technically it wasn't originally a fix point. When Barry first appeared both parents were alive. Eventually becuase of Reverse-Flash time manipulation it became a fix point.
However I could argue that the true fix point is Barry Allen becoming The Flash, becuase no Flash means no Reverse-Flash. That was the main reason why when Reverse Flash travel back in time an kills Barry's mom, he never hurt him physically, he had to make sure he grows up and becomes the Flash.
It would be cool if they will somehow do the flashpoint ending with Barry giving Thomas's note to Ben Affleck's Bruce
Ezra miller drama aside, I hope they get the help they need, this looks really awesome.
I’m going to see it because it looks dope af, AND I want to support Mushietti, Affleck, Keaton, etc.

I still wish we could have gotten a proper Flashpoint Batman movie with Jeffrey Dean Morgan, I wonder if that was ever an idea in the Snyderverse? Seemed like some weirdly high profile casting for him to just die in one scene in BvS and only have one line.
Despite that, I am glad to see Keaton return. I'm also kinda digging that Year 2 style batsuit that Affleck was wearing, with the blue cape and cowl. I don't know of any other live-action Batman who wore that style of suit since Adam West.

Keaton and Reeves were in a 90’s movie together called Speechless and it’s hilarious but every time I watched it I thought “that’s Batman and Superman, make it happen!!!”

We'll probably see who will be the next Flash at the end of the movie instead of a new Sups. Gunn confirmed they haven't started casting for Superman yet. Although, I'm hoping Grant Gustin shows up at the end confirming he'll be the DCU Flash since CW's The Flash series is about to end
I’ve considered this as well. Seems unlikely, but we’ll keep our fingers crossed, the question there actually revolves around Ezra’s involvement, hard to say if they’d introduce the new Superman by way of Ezra if he himself isn’t sticking around. I guess all will be revealed this summer haha
Guys michael Keaton's Batman is thomas wayne. In the scene where they show all his suits in the batcave Thamas wayne suit is there is the first one from the left. It got the gun holsters with the guns in them. Close to his chest. And in another scene you see an old mans hand touching a picture where the waynes are and he only touches the woman and child. That hand is Keaton's. Remember in flashpoint bruce dies and martha becomes joker. Also i think the Barry from that timeline is actually reverse flash because he wears too much yellow, doesnt know his timeline batman and his lightning is yellow and orange while the main Barry lightning is blue.

Im honestly much more excited about Zod and Bale's Batman in this one. I didnt expect those to show up! Micheal Keaton we already got promo shots, voice in that teaser and we already knew he was a major part of it for like 2 years. Zod came out of knowhere! I love when villains come back in this way. Its very rare, for DC especially.
@@NdoubleN2 my bad. I saw in detail screenshots showing its actually some other variant of Batfleck probably in his grey-blue suit. In the trailer it looked to me exactly like batcycle from Nolan trilogy + the helmet looks much sleeker than Battfleck version and it obviously isnt Keaton one. But I guess its just new suit for Ben Afflecks take - variant or new. I also saw one other reactor notice it and assume it was Bale batman. A bit of a shame, would be cool to see Bale's version, but seeing screenshots and comparision im now 95% sure its not him.

Keaton's Batman has a vault with multiple suits. You see the '89 suit, the Returns suit, a blue and grey suit with white lenses. He plays the same Batman as he did in '89
As someone who deosn't like any of the snyder dc movies, this trailer did make this film look good. Definitely looks like they are leaning heavy on nostalgia and batman as oppose to the flash being the selling point of a flash movie. Is it enough for me to go see this in the cinema, probably not but I'll see how responses of people I trust are after they see it then I'll decide decide.

Love you guys so much. Honestly as someone who is very sensitive about abuse, I cannot bring myself to watch this film. I know there were about a thousand other people who worked on it, and I'm proud of them for what they contributed based on the trailer.

@@clarkbryant8222 I don't hate on things, I'm just fair and critical to stuff that doesn't work for me, like Black Adam. I liked things about that movie, but it ultimately didn't work for me. I also loved Birds of Prey and The Suicide Squad, but I feel like that never gets mentioned when people would rather paint me as someone who just hates DC for no reason. I also am not a fan of Batgirl being cancelled for tax reasons, as I feel like that was unfair to that cast and crew, and despite Ezra Miller's behavior, this film is still going to maybe reward that behavior with a lot of success and support. I just think that's kind of crappy.

yea i think many of the scenes you can see that they are maybe turning the regular Barry in Keatons universe into Flash, maybe our Barry is going to leave and he wants the other Barry to become a Flash to protect that universe when he's gone. I see batman channeling lightning down a towrope or something. So the Flash in the black suit i think is Keatons new Flash that they created to help battle Zod.
I wasn't planning on seeing this but once I saw Michael Keaton Batman now it's a must watch for me.

this is the first DC trailer that really got me. i'll be watching this
I feel like Ben Affleck's Bruce Wayne is cautioning Barry to NOT do what he's thinking of doing, so I think he's early in the movie. Barry does what Barry's gonna do and he changes everything after that and f's everything up and he's trying to fix. I'm eager to see the explanation as to why there's no Kal-El but there is a Kara instead. I mean, did Kal not survive the destruction of Krypton in this timeline? Don't know. I figure they're going to establish, definitively, the DC multiverse here while it will start off with Barry thinking he's only changing his timeline, but eventually discovers there are other universes and Earths by the end of the movie, which we may glimpse some, setting up Elseworlds.

Flash is the time reset hero. He's done it a couple times. So they are using the Flashpoint comic as inspiration to reset the universe roughly how he did it in the comics.

I personally can’t get excited for dc movies at this point, but I am hoping for the best with this one. With everything going on in and around this film, at the heart of the story is Barry accepting that he can’t save his mom and gets a sense of closure in the end. If they can stick the landing in that regard and nail that emotional connection, then I think it will be a success. Fingers crossed

Feels somewhat fitting where Gunn mentioned that DC is restarting their entire mainline Universe and hopefully using flashpoint to lose Ezra Miller as the Flash also due to all the controversy surrounding him.

I want to love this - and I mostly do, but the Ezra shadow hangs heavy over this.
Also, I think I’ll have mixed feelings about the DCU universe changing so much after having this film remind me of some of my favorite parts of the DCEU - Man of Steel battle, Shannon as Zod, Batfleck.
I guess we will just have to wait and see.
I wonder it Cavill will be one of Zod's generals as a way to give him a send off for the new movie universe. Could explain why he said he was coming back but now saying he isn't going to be "Superman"
definitely my favorite reaction from you guys this year. after I watched the trailer, I was like my boys are gonna flip out on the Keaton scene. 😂 when you guys mentioned the cut Aquaman and WW scenes right, I’m interested to see if they did really cut them because in one of the tv spots or leaked tv spot that was in china? or Japan, there’s a shot fans caught and it’s wonder women’s wrist pieces she wears so, maybe she really is in it? either way I’m excited for the movie. I’ve been waiting for a proper storyline of flashpoint on the big screen. CW flash was good and I personally liked it but to know now it’s being told in the dcu is great.
