I always admire when an actor has a genuine love and understanding to their character, especially in different comic book films, such as Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield and Tom Holland all showing their love and passion for Spiderman and what he represents. In addition to actor's like Henry Cavill and Tyler Hoechlin as Superman, both of which love playing the character and both have a deep understanding of what the character means to the world (Henry Cavill in particular recently expressed his own ideas about how would've to take the character to be more hopeful and inspirational, before approaching darker themes down the lines, which honestly sounds perfect and true to the character). Deep down these actors love playing these roles because they don't see it as just a role, but rather the hero's and characters they love, that we all love.

Saw the Batman movie a few days early after scoring some early release tickets. Paul Dano deserves SO MUCH more credit. What an incredible Riddler performance.
@@boscopappas234 See, I thought once the mask came off it added so much more to the Riddler in terms of who he really is, the problems he faces, his personality, etc. To each their own though, of course!
The fact that Paul & Rob both have the composure of two kids brought into the principals office, but are playing very imposing characters is hilarious and exciting.
For the future sequel, be sure not to spoil yourself so much watching interviews and trailers beforehand. Watch it after you've seen it instead because it can dampen the experience. Having seen the movie at the premiere, I know. I promise you, less is more. Do your eyes a favor and go in as fresh as possible.
As someone who loves independent films, I cannot even express just how thrilled I am to see Paul Dano stepping into this role. He is a phenomenal actor and director, and I’m ready to see him finally get the recognition he deserves.
@John GreekI think she meant that Paul Dano makes lots of independent stuff and she's excited he's doing a blockbuster so that more people can appreciate him
The way she asked Rob, how long he wants to be Batman even caught me off guard. It's good to know Rob wants to do this and is invested in a trilogy. I'm excited to dive into this Batman universe.
Batman has a HUGE universe. Easily they can squeeze out 6 movies or so in this new Batman universe. I don't want this Batman universe to contain any other DC heroes. Let this Batman universe be the main ship for WB and DC.
Batman has the biggest and best rogue's gallery in comic book history. We still have Clock King, Anarky, Man-Bat, Deathstroke, and many more bad guys that have yet to see live action. I'd also mention Calendar Man but he appears in The Suicide Squad!
I really had expected as answer somewhere along the lines of "Forever"... so his unsure answer makes me feel a little nervous; but hoping he really is invested in this Batman.
Rob definitely is the most Batman Batman. He’s scary and complex, yet you know he’s vulnerable. I’m so excited to see where this character goes and how he progresses his journey with himself. I’m really impressed with this new movie and the building of these characters!
This is how you should be as an interviewer. She is great in engaging people in a conversation and gets the answers without befuddled stammering answers.
Why wouldn't they have the two young ladies on the panel dressed in bikinis and high heels engaged in a tickle fight....for the sake of tasteful presentation.
4:06 aww that segment with Zoe saying Rob is her Batman was adorable...you could see how bashful that made him. She was so genuinely sweet about it. So cute.
You could say the Nolan movies were Batman told by Alfred and Jim Gordon’s perspective. This new movie feels like a Batman story from Batman’s perspective, it just feels a lot more personal and closer to the character.
This is such an apt take. You can even tell from the cinematography in both films which perspective the director wants the audience to experience Batman. Nolan always kept Batman (and to some extent Bruce Wayne) at a distance with his camera work. He seldom used close-up shots and often employed a deep depth of field when Batman was in the shot. A great example of this was in TDK, when Alfred walks into the living room with a drink for a heart-broken Bruce Wayne, shortly after Rachel is murdered. It’s a slow panning shot towards Bruce from the perspective of Alfred. He was more interested in showing a third person’s perspective of Batman.
The interviewer really did her homework and asked very great questions. As someone who grew up loving Batman so much, I appreciate it when they don’t ask goofy or overused questions and actually know what they are talking about. This made me 10 times more excited for the movie. Well done! 🖤🦇
I like that this interviewer didn’t waste her time asking trick questions or budding in when the actors explained their visions. She had great questions and is an even greater listener.
She was hot garbage and fed them answers while purposely being vague in other parts. There is a serious lack of chemistry between Rob and the rest of the cast, he seems like a awkward teenager.
@@rmmm6725 no nothing like that was happening in the vid dude, the whole cast is a fan of batman and his mythos, and did their research unlike marvel actors for their roles
@@barry2349 wow, what does anything in this thread have to do with the MCU. Also the awkward way she asked Rob if he would be her batman and he was consistently looking down and leaning away said enough. You are a nut
when Zoe said that she had to be softer and trust that catwoman is a badass without building it up with bravado that was such a relief to me. Its the biggest problem with female characters in media now especially with like captain marvel where the writers and actors feel like they need to prove to us they are badasses and constantly tell us. Im really excited to see more of her in this movie
Agreed, not all female characters have to constantly show empowerment and strength. One thing I disliked about the MCU, was there constant need to always have a “female moment” in the movie.
@@miltontavares9506 I despise that scene with a passion. I get the intention but it was handled in such a cringeworthy manner. They could've done a kind of montage maybe with the female characters fighting in individual battles.
This has the makings of the perfect Batman movie. The cast's chemistry and understanding of the character of Batman is overwhelmingly good. None of these stars are here for a quick pay check, they all seem so committed. I can think of so many other actors who, even combined, they still wouldn't have as much passion as Robert Pattinson alone. These are fans providing their vision for a real Batman film.
A lot of people didn't want pattinson as batman. Personally, I didn't have faith in him at first, but I started watching his movies. (Everyone remembers him for twilight) Then I saw "Good Time", "Tenet" and "Lighthouse" and I was convinced. The guy was the one. Congratulations to Robert and the cast, I loved the movie. 👏🏻
didn't watch movie yet, but oddly enought (even if i knew him only from twilight, though i know he's a good actor and never had anything against him, just watched Lighthouse btw, and he made a great performance there), immediately i was quite excited to see him as a batman what convinced me, was mostly the fact he was saying from the beginning, he's a huge fan of batman, and that's usually enought for me to believe actor knows how this character should be portrayed
Glad you changed your mind! I grew up always hearing about how awful the Twilight films were, but my first real introduction to Robert Pattinson was The Lighthouse. I still think about moments from that film every now and then. Such a genuinely interesting actor (plus, a big fan of death grips too)!
I love how Pattinson does a bunch of movies that aren’t blockbusters. Most people only know him from twilight but he is a legit actor that can really play in any genre. His Batman is so damn good!!!
I absolutely LOVE that in a stroke of genius, WB managed to get a FULL HALF HOUR of uninterrupted interview with the core cast. Very much needed in the age of endless press junkets. And Naz is a brilliant host!
This film isn't just some comic book movie. It's a dark and serious film. I truly hope this one enters Joker territory at the box office where it's completely praised by fans and critics alike while making a bajillion dollars.
"There's so much room for this Batman to grow too" This gave me chills down my spine. With how beautiful how this film came out under Matt's helm. I can't explain how excited I am if they continue with more Batman movies like this. Where we can see Pattinson's Batman learn how to find a way to evolve himself from pure vengeance and terror to Gotham into the beacon of hope that they need in order for change to come into fruition.
Agreed, the character was really satisfying without being overloaded. It's the first Batman where I actually want to know more about Batman as a person and where he's headed. There's a clear shift in his priorities during the film and it's a great way to leave the door open to growth.
absolute hats off to the interviewer, she clearly loves the world of Batman herself and has put a lot of thought into these questions 👏🏻 following that, i am SO excited to see this movie. the more promotional work i see about it the more i am just filled with such joy as Colin touched upon in this. incredibly excited and i really cannot wait for march 4th 😍
Ikr????? Tbh I love it that we can't see him as riddler, but we know who he is, but it keeps him mysterious. I love it, but to finally see Paul makes me happy
Robert literally has my heart… look at how sweet and shy he is. He just doesn’t look like he knows how insanely talented, beautiful and kind he really is.
He truly is...I hope he one day finds his own ultimate masterpiece of a character role...which will ultimately elevate him to the level of all time greatness.
He was on a phenomenal rise in the 2000's.. the actor that all of Hollywood is raving about !! until the film on "Alexander the Great", he gave his all in this role but Oliver Stone did the film very badly and it was a critical and box office failure which affected Colin's career a lot..but he made a lot of good movies afterwards and of course he remains an awesome actor
Say what you want about the film but phone booth like pulls you in. Ontop of his role as the coke head bosses' son was amazing and one of the best parts of horrible bosses. I like his minor role in Minority Report, the drunk father in Saving Mr. Banks. He really does have a large range as an actor but I think needs that ONE role that lands him an Oscar and some more deserved respect. I think this movie will help that, already talks about a series.
He won’t be the best Bruce Wayne in this movie, he’ll be the best Batman. Reason why I say this is because in this movie as Rob also said in this interview, Bruce only wants to be Batman, not the playboy. In the sequel, he’ll be the best Bruce Wayne.
@@msftvsn9349 finally, someone who understands, this first film will be Bruce trying to understand who he is: Wayne or Batman, although he's more inclined to be the justice Gotham deserve, and also that justice will be ironically the path to make his vengeance.
@@msftvsn9349 Not every Bruce has to be a playboy to be the best version of the character. You need to let go of your preconceived notion of Bruce and understand that even if he's only Bruce for ten minutes, he can make you feel more and empathize more than another actor did for the hour that they played Bruce Wayne. It's not about the length of time, it's about the depth of the performance. People are also forgetting that Pattinson is playing three characters. Batman, Bruce and the Drifter, who is another character, not just Bruce in disguise. You're not prepared.
the interviewer did a great job. she was really engaged and you can tell she's a batman fan and brought her knowledge to the table! Wish there was more interviews like this. A lot of us watch these interviews because we're excited for the movie, so I really appreciate that this interview goes above the usual superficial questions, especially as a batman fan. You can tell the cast cares and wants to be in the movie. Also I agree, BTAS is the best and Conroy is my batman :)
If I was an interviewer, I would endeavor to bring that type of attention and passion to every cast I got to interview, honoring the fact that position is privileged. The actors have to go through endless, often vapid interviews and marketing; I would consider it my goal to ask them questions that spark their interest and communicate my respect so that they wanted to be engaged.
Robert is like what Andrew is to Spider-Man. Both of them truly understand their character more then any actor before them, and both deeply care for the character. It's great when actors do that with these type of roles.
Hey I love Rob as an actor too, but I don't really think it's fair to discount Christian Bale. I know he gets very into his characters' psyche and he's just as, if not more, passionate about every one of his roles.
I don’t know how you can say that Andrew ‘understood’ Spider-Man more than Tobey or Tom. His Spider-Man onscreen was by far the poorest. I’ve always felt Tobey’s version was the truest to the comics, and to the Spider-Man Stan Le had in his head when he created the character. And Tom’s version is essentially Tobey’s updated to the 21st century.
@@williamegan6756 First of all, his Spider-Man/Peter Parker are comic accurate to the earth 1610 universe (the ultimate universe) whereas Tobey was closer to the early 60's comics so that's wrong. Sure his movies weren't the best but they are still enjoyable and his Spider-Man acts the way Spider-Man should and his Peter fits the more modern take of teen years. Second, I was talking about the actor. Andrew knows more about Spider-Man then Tobey and Tom combined. Tobey didn't even know who Spider-Man was before he took that role. Andrew understands the character deeply and truly cares about the character (I'm not saying the other two don't but still) and understands the journey and misery that Peter Parker goes through. You made the mistake of thinking I was talking about the way each actor portrayed the roll and I wasn't, I was talking about how the actor knows and understands more then the other actors.
Yes. This. I’m so glad I’m not the only one who thinks Paul Dano is underrated. All of his performances I’ve seen are somehow so memorable and outstanding
Seeing a huge actor like Colin get so genuinely exctied to talk about his character work with penguin is so great. It seems like everyone involved has their own personal passion for the DC universe
I will never get over how perfect the castings are for this films especially Pattinson and Dano, they know so much about their characters and are just amazing actors.
I remember thinking that this movie would suck, because I saw that Robbert Pattinson was going to Bruce, but then I started to watch his filmography... I do not think that anymore
It's funny because Dano has been a fan cast for riddler for years. He was the only person I could see be him. And now we have him. And Zoe is purrfect too.
@@alexandermiller5910 Once I heard Paul was Riddler I knew Matt reeves was a casting genius. He was the most one I was sure was gonna be great. I have had reservations about Jeff Wright as Gordon because I wanted him as Lucius Fox but now I see he is a great Gordon. I also had some reservations about Andy Serkis as Alfred, just didn't know if it fit. But after watching him in Prestige he can pull off the butler.
I believe his performance will be remembered in a similar way as Heath Ledger’s joker. His scariness in Prisoners really made it feel like he was born for this role
I can’t get over how insightful Dano is of this universe. After finally making it to the cinema and seeing it he hits the nail on the head of the duality of those driven by tragedy. My favorite Batman right along side of Dark Knight. Both did different things but I love each of them just as much.
I love the way Rob speaks. It’s so profound and he shifts his thoughts quieter frequently, he tries to get to the end of a point but then jumps to another thought and completely changes the expression and tone of the conversation. He’s quite the unique guy.
I'm guessing he's the kind of person who can connect different ideas together. Like when you talk about something and it somehow reminds you of something else. Others might not see the connection and would want a straight answer while others can go along with it and see the connection the person made. I just realized this might not make sense to some people but it does to me. 😅
This was the best Batman movie ABOUT Batman that I've seen yet. It's closer to the Animated Series than the movies for the most part in how concerned it is with the psychology of Bruce Wayne / Batman. My favorite Bruce Wayne was always Michael Keaton, but I think Pattinson's version feels more personal and you truly feel like he's on a journey and is struggling with something.
I was surprised that I was going to like this Batman version, But I agree that's it reminded me a lot of the animated series and because of that I think this is the best Batman movie I've seen.
Robert Pattinson's attitude towards the character of Batman is like Andrew Garfield's toward Spider-Man; completely and utterly full of passion (not that Tom Holland and Tobey Maguire aren't as well, but Andrew specifically seems really familiar with the character's past and lore)
Credit to the host, Naz Perez. Great questions, charismatic, an ability to make the subjects feel comfortable, super well-spoken. Major Sean Evans vibes. Hope to see more of her.
This cast... We’ve all been aware of Matt Reeves’ great filmography that he built over the years but if I’m being honest the first cast announcements really set the deal that it was going to be something special. (and of course hopefully) Edit: Shoutout to Naz Perez, it is always great to see interviewers who actually invested in the source material. It was such a great conversation. Also, some parts that I really appreciated was, how Dano summed up the parallel between the two sides of the coin between Batman and the Riddler through trauma. Farrell, being a fan of Reeves' previous work which is really essential for this story as well. (and you can tell he really loves playing Cobblepott, lol) Wright, acknowledging Gary Oldman and previous iterations of the character. And, lastly, the chemistry between Rob & Zoe and their understanding of their characters respectively. Can't wait!
The whole cast agreeing and saying “someone check on Matt reeves” was so funny and honestly you can see the deep connection these actors have with their director which is so important when making not only a film but a film like this. A film capable of so much impact. This movie was amazing and hope to see more from everyone ♥️🦇

When they announced robert, ppl were crying why this twillight guy? i kept telling them watch good times , Cosmopolis and other movies he made . now everybody is suddenly hyped. Robert is a fantastic actor.
I still remember having an argument with some random guy in the Internet over Pattinson when they first announced him as a Batman. He still couldn’t get over Twilight Pattinson. I bet he changed his mind now.
@@neshwhat702 whats funny to is I think Twilight Pattinson is the perfect casting for Batman anyways. Because he’s brooding, charming yet collected and just seems to fit the aesthetic of a “Bruce Wayne”. Well atleast imo he does 😊
I want to take a moment to appreciate the interviewer-- her questions are so smart and thought-invoking that it had some of the cast go on tangents and very apparently thinking on the spot. making an actor take a minute to think abt the answer is just such an achievement as an interviewer. She also involved everyone rather than focus on one or two like a lot of others do
Zoey is breathtaking ❤️ and my god am I thrilled to see Paul in this big franchise, he’s phenomenal. And Rob, it’s been such a joy to see him evolving as an actor and person the past years since twilight, so chuffed for him 🙌🏼

It’s quite remarkable how even though we all know what Paul Dano looks like, it’s still very creepy how every footage they show Riddler without his mask, his face is obscured.
@@barry2349 Nah, it’s likely just to keep him scary. Like in Avatar The Last Airbender the fire lord his face kept being hidden until season 3, he wasn’t even disfigured.
There is tv spot called vengeance that has been taken down again, where you actually see his face for a second, where he whispers "Vengeance" while looking somewhat defeated. His face is scarred and he looks absolutely scary and weird. Really excited to see Paul in this.
I'm so happy for Pattinson. He finally proved the world his talent through one of the most iconic character ever written, doing him justice like no other before him, and he still can't realize how it's possible. The movie's a masterpiece and I was genuinely stoked for him from the moment he was revealed as Bats. Can't wait to see it once more, and hoping for a sequel 100%.
In my opinion, what I think they should do is keep Robert Pattinson as Batman for as long as they can and keep telling interesting stories and keep developing these characters. Because there’s still SO much to be explored, especially with Rob being a younger Batman/Bruce atm and especially with so much lore the Batman world has. A trilogy would be ideal, but I would like to see them go beyond a trilogy IF everything works out. Like how FOX kept Hugh Jackman as Wolverine for so long without recasting him until he got his official ending (that’s well-deserved). Would be cool to see Rob grow into an older Batman as well (like a Ben Affleck Batman type of old or perhaps a bit older).
The chemistry of the cast even off screen is amazing, such an ensemble of great great actors. This movie is going to be the next milestone event like Phoenix's joker. Can't wait.....
The interviewer straight up killed it! Great questions was very knowledgeable and really got the actors to dig deep and answer her questions as if it were the actual characters speaking about themselves! Made me even more excited to watch The Batman! Great job!
Hats off to the interviewer, great questions, engaged with everyone and most importantly didn't interrupt once, lets them all speak on their own flows which will always result in honest and personal answers which are always usually rushed these days, really enjoyed this!, can't wait to see it, - p.s my fave batman was Conroy (Animates series), i just wished Andy Serkis was here too,! hes amazing as well as this whole cast!
I genuinely think we will see a great Paul Dano performance. I believe he will be talked about in a similar way as Heath Ledger’s joker. His scariness in “Prisoners” combined with his brutality and weirdness in “12 Years a slave” and “The girl next door” will set a standard for the riddler.
This has to be one of my favourite sit down interviews that I’ve EVER seen. The excitement surrounding this movie is palpable. These actors - including Matt clearly feel like they have delivered here on a humongous scale. I’m ready!🦇
I can't stand these things normally but I watched the whole thing, she was an absolutely fantastic interviewer, especially considering the unenviable task of asking thoughtful questions about performances we have not seen yet and characters whose roles we don't yet know. She was great and this got me even more psyched for the film. The cast too seemed very humble, appreciative, respectful of each other and it almost seemed more like a troupe of first-timers on a low budget indie just hoping for the best rather than hollywood stars for a comic book movie that will likely smash box office records. I hope it's as good as it sounds as we are all in for a treat if so.
Something big is coming... I can feel it. I can smell it. The setting, the atmosphere, the cast, the chemistry, a brand new “detective” story for the big screen... Wow. Buckle up ladies and gentlemen!
What a fantastic interview, it's so refreshing to see an interviewer who knows her stuff and is passionate about the subject matter. Thank you to everyone who worked on this masterpiece of a film, it was just as beautiful and thrilling as I expected and more! Rob is my Batman
She made it sound sweet, but also could sound romantic, ahah he is shy but he probably was also thinking in his girlfriend, that's probably why it took him longer to answer. Even though Zoe and Rob have been friends for years, wayyy prior to them been cast in this movie.
I’ve only recently watched the planet of the apes trilogy after hearing Matt reeves directed the second and third ones and I must say, I have faith in Matt for this movie. The fact he’s able to tell a story that isn’t simple but isn’t so complex just amazes me. He literally made me root for an apes survival over my own species in the second and third movies. And the fact that they were PG 13 as well with the heavy scenes that were in them gives me more hope for this movie and the success that it will have. I’ve waited so long for a comic accurate Batman in a movie and I’m praying we finally get it
Now that's an interview! Questions were all relevant, everyone got a chance to talk and share their sentiments about their character and about the film, and most importantly, she's not interrupting and truly listens to their answers that she was able to respond to them and uses it to transition for the next question effortlessly. Hope to see more interviews done like this.

Batman has a HUGE universe. Easily they can squeeze out 6 movies or so in this new Batman universe. I don't want this Batman universe to contain any other DC heroes. Let this Batman universe be the main ship for WB and DC.

You could say the Nolan movies were Batman told by Alfred and Jim Gordon’s perspective. This new movie feels like a Batman story from Batman’s perspective, it just feels a lot more personal and closer to the character.
I like that description
Very well said
Nolan's Batman is just too cheery now😅 Maybe that's his goal, Bale wants him to be charismatic.
Bravissimo

He won’t be the best Bruce Wayne in this movie, he’ll be the best Batman. Reason why I say this is because in this movie as Rob also said in this interview, Bruce only wants to be Batman, not the playboy. In the sequel, he’ll be the best Bruce Wayne.

I agree. I think the haters will be surprised.

Well there you have it from someone that’s not a Superhero Movie Fan, Rxsescentedtrash, But the”bat” got you! Being an old Comic book, Action figure, Superhero stuff Collector, I’m so Pleased you “Absolutely “ Love this Movie!!! & you used the word obsessed & I believe you mean it, this gives a “bat-fan” like myself Great joy! All that’s left to say is Welcome to the Bat-world of Director Matt Reeves.🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇
Appreciate this comment because people think superhero films are rubbish. I love my horror movies but for me, ill be going cinemas as an oap watching them
If you haven’t already, watch The Lighthouse with Willem Dafoe and Robert Pattinson. I kind of had my thoughts on Pattinson before, but damn he can act.
the person that made the music’s name is Michael Giacchino and he made the music for ratatouille, incredibles, lost, and that marriage sequence in up! he’s an interesting guy, and he knows how to incite emotions in his art. definitely recommend giving him some research, he doesn’t get nearly enough recognition
It’s quite remarkable how even though we all know what Paul Dano looks like, it’s still very creepy how every footage they show Riddler without his mask, his face is obscured.
Maybe has something to do with something going with his face
@@barry2349 Nah, it’s likely just to keep him scary. Like in Avatar The Last Airbender the fire lord his face kept being hidden until season 3, he wasn’t even disfigured.
@@spideyfan1278 no dude there hiding him becoz of story reasons it does have significance to it
There is tv spot called vengeance that has been taken down again, where you actually see his face for a second, where he whispers "Vengeance" while looking somewhat defeated. His face is scarred and he looks absolutely scary and weird. Really excited to see Paul in this.
@@Gonko100 that’s not him that’s one of his henchmen that are dressed like him.
All seem very genuine people, I'm obsessed to see the film. Cudos for the interviewer for not interrupting them
I doubted every single person in this casting except for Jeffrey Wright and once again I was proven wrong. Loved this movie so much
Im so excited to see Paul Dano as the Riddler, his acting in There will be blood was phenomenal and I can’t imagine how good he is in this film
I feel like so many people don’t realize how talented Paul Dano is. I’m most excited to see him as the Riddler.
Will there be robin and batgirl
OMG YESSSS PLEASSSEEE
DC would get a lot of their old credibility if they can pull of a wolverine of their own.
That's his choice though
Jesus, dude is gonna get milked dry
Well I'm all here for it
Pattinson has said that he would love to play batman for a long time
Depends on how long he can allegedly put up with Matt Reeves.
The chemistry of the cast even off screen is amazing, such an ensemble of great great actors. This movie is going to be the next milestone event like Phoenix's joker. Can't wait.....
The way Zoë says “Rob’s my Batman” is adorable
Which minute

The interviewer straight up killed it! Great questions was very knowledgeable and really got the actors to dig deep and answer her questions as if it were the actual characters speaking about themselves! Made me even more excited to watch The Batman! Great job!
The interviewer did a great job! She included all of them efficiently
PS: Colin Farrell is a master of words, totally hilarious! From 19:00
Hats off to the interviewer, great questions, engaged with everyone and most importantly didn't interrupt once, lets them all speak on their own flows which will always result in honest and personal answers which are always usually rushed these days, really enjoyed this!, can't wait to see it, - p.s my fave batman was Conroy (Animates series), i just wished Andy Serkis was here too,! hes amazing as well as this whole cast!
Depends if the script gives him enough to do.
He wasn't scary at all in prisoners, I just felt bad his acting was soo believable that he had been kidnapped and tortured
He is incredibly unsettling in There Will Be Blood too. Stoked to see him in this one!
There will be Blood, baby... incredible role, awesome actor.
This has to be one of my favourite sit down interviews that I’ve EVER seen.
The excitement surrounding this movie is palpable. These actors - including Matt clearly feel like they have delivered here on a humongous scale.
I’m ready!🦇
These were A+ questions actually! The answers were well thought out and this cast seems so passionate. Awesome
S++ tier
Definitely the most intricate Batman cast so far. Pattinson, Farrell, Wright, Dano, Serkis... absolutely amazing ensemble
For the sequel we need Ray Liotta as The Ventriloquist and Scarface!
Don’t forget Kravitz
@@complicatedairflow7237 Sorry, I don't think she is a very good actress. I hope she prooves me wrong in the movie though 🙏
@@MichaelHolmgaard she'll prove you wrong, and I hope to come back to this comment and laugh.
@@btr003 Laugh if you want. I don't care ☺️
What an incredible cast!
Colin is such a great chatty person, one of the best casts I’ve seen for a Batman movie.
I like that Jeffrey Wright mentioned Gary Oldman and praised him.
Miss Naz Perez killed this interview. All the questions I wanted to hear she asked. She is truly a Batman fan!
Something big is coming... I can feel it. I can smell it. The setting, the atmosphere, the cast, the chemistry, a brand new “detective” story for the big screen... Wow. Buckle up ladies and gentlemen!
relax
This what I’m saying
@@datatsushi2016 come on let my guy be excited, it’s Batman
All the actors here seem genuinely invested in the characters and telling a good story. Hats off to the interviewer too, well done!
What a fantastic interview, it's so refreshing to see an interviewer who knows her stuff and is passionate about the subject matter. Thank you to everyone who worked on this masterpiece of a film, it was just as beautiful and thrilling as I expected and more! Rob is my Batman
I don't think i've ever been more hyped over a movie in a long time. And yes, I'm more hyped over this than I was with Spider-Man.
I agree
Ya dam rite
Me too 😭
Sameeeee
21 more days left!! Man i cant wait any longer.
When Zoë Kravitz asks you if you can be her Batman, YOU SAY YES IMMEDIATELY
She made it sound sweet, but also could sound romantic, ahah he is shy but he probably was also thinking in his girlfriend, that's probably why it took him longer to answer.
Even though Zoe and Rob have been friends for years, wayyy prior to them been cast in this movie.
That was kind of embarrassing honestly.
@@cprw10 I think he’s just shy/nervous they both are dating someone tho 😭😭
@@CeciliaX100 there was nothing embarrassing about that lol
All these actors had great performances in this movie. For me, Paul Dano was equal to Heath Ledger's Joker.
Are you on drugs 😂😂
@@kingwilliams4749 he said “for me.” it’s an opinion. u don’t have to comment
I feel like he lacked screentime but he could definitely reech that level
I’ve only recently watched the planet of the apes trilogy after hearing Matt reeves directed the second and third ones and I must say, I have faith in Matt for this movie. The fact he’s able to tell a story that isn’t simple but isn’t so complex just amazes me. He literally made me root for an apes survival over my own species in the second and third movies. And the fact that they were PG 13 as well with the heavy scenes that were in them gives me more hope for this movie and the success that it will have. I’ve waited so long for a comic accurate Batman in a movie and I’m praying we finally get it
So true!
monke superior
Rooting for the apes! 😂
Kudos to Naz Perez. Not only for being a great interviewer, but also for showing some real Batman love!
Can't wait to see paul dano performance. great actor
He is going to be amazing as The Riddler, and already feels like he is going to deliver something fresh and true to the character, especially how this Riddler is so unique from other iterations of this character.
Really liked how Collin was giving everyone credit from actors ,director, make up artist, production team all of them it's just amazing
I am so glad to hear that Robert wants to do more of this Batman because this has become my personal favorite Batman movie so far !
Look at Rob dropping some knowledge and geeking out 😂 🦇❓🃏🐧🐈⬛ … and him being chaotic in interviews is gold
