  • Join me today to discuss NIGHTMARE Sales Associates FROM HELL - OMG!! Hermes, CHANEL, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Fendi, Gucci, Prada etc. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? - LONDON LUXURY SHOPPING VLOG 2022 !! Come Shopping With Me at Harrods & Bvlgari in March 2022!! Do you love luxury shopping vlogs as much as I do? I really missed Harrods and I can't believe how many beautiful designer handbags I spotted!! The new Chanel Spring Summer 2022 Collection is almost out - otherwise known as the Chanel 22S Collection - and I've fallen in love with the pink velvet Chanel Mini Rectangular, the lilac Chanel Coco Handle, the rainbow Chanel Mini Reissue and the black Chanel CC Tote which is a vintage Chanel bag that has been reissued for this year's Chanel 22P Collection!! However, the pink Chanel Diana Bag and the Chanel Classic Flap Bag in the Jumbo size are still next on my handbag wishlist!! I can't wait to show you more of Chanel Cruise 2022 - or Chanel 22C - which is finally in the boutiques right now!!
    Luxury shopping in London is great, especially shopping at Dior, Chanel & Louis Vuitton!! You never know what you'll find on a luxury shopping spree!! I love the new Bottega Veneta Teen Chain Pouch in black and my dream Fendi Peekaboo Mini with the embroidered flowers!! Another highlight was the Louis Vuitton Papillon Trunk Bag - they still don't have any Louis Vuitton Nano Speedy models in stock. Stay tuned for my luxury shopping haul next week - can you guess what items I bought? Maybe something from Dior - a Dior Saddle Bag, a Dior Book Tote or another Lady Dior - what do we think about Dior's new micro bags by the way? I'm in love with the micro Lady Dior!! Or maybe some Dior jewellery? I've been collecting many Dior jewelry pieces for some time now, especially Dior earrings!! I'm also a sucker for Chanel earrings and Chanel jewellery in general!! Did you spot anything in the Chanel Sale - maybe some Chanel shoes?
    Today, we are going to visit Designer Exchange London in Knightsbridge - a reseller of vintage and pre-loved designer handbags. They have so many beautiful Hermes Birkin 25 models in stock - what Hermès Birkin or Kelly do you dream of adding to your handbag collection? Also, which luxury handbags do you want to buy next? I still can't believe I was able to try on the beautiful Hermes Himalayan Bag - the Hermes Himalayan Birkin is the most expensive handbag in the world!!

      💖👑👑💖hello lovely just wanted to say i think you are one of the loveliest lady on youtube .love watching your vlogs and am a huge fan of your vlogs .just wanted to also say it cost nothing to be kind and to respect our fellow humans .I thi k some people are just naturally rude. To the SAs who are haveing a bad time in there personal live best to have couple of days of work if you are not up to doing your job and we hope you are feeling better soon to the SAs who are just naturally rude you are deffently in the wrong job .     I totally agree that customer service is so so important! I recently walked into a Bottega boutique to check on the cassette bag my daughter has in mind. I approached a SA and he was so helpful throughout even though he knows that I’m just checking on the colors n pricing with no intention of buying that night. He was very patient n when I thanked him, he offered his number to me to keep in touch. Afterwhich he texted me n asked me to feel free to ask him anything I need. Wow that’s true customer service to me…with NO expectations!

    I was in a nice department store that carries various designer brands a few years ago. I had never been to that particular location, so I had an arm full of clothes I wanted to try on and I asked the SA Where the fitting rooms were. She pointed at a corner, rolled her eyes obviously and said “if you look really hard, you just might find them under the sign that says FITTING ROOM.” I smiled at her, and said “if you look really hard, you might just find the commission that you were about to make on the floor.“ and dropped all the clothes in front of her and walked away.

      @@RominaRoseMay - I agree 1,000%! People choose their jobs not the only way around. I understand that not everyday is going to be rainbows 🌈 and roses 🌹 but kindness, courtesy and respect should be REQUIRED in a career that is client and customer facing. That is like a garbage man (or using the more politically correct term of sanitation engineer) in the US and I live in one of the biggest cities in the world 🌎 saying, I want to make this b-figure salary, but not smell the stench that sometimes comes with the territory. It just doesn’t work that way. Be Blessed!!

      @@terrybuckley2850 Hey Terry. Good points. But wanted 2 say "Political Correctness" isn't all 'bad' as u somewot imply. ("Or using the more PC.....)
      PC's about considering the connotations of words, phrases and titles & thinking 4 a moment about how it may affect the individuals it's applied 2 | Or lead others 2 c that individual in a (usually) -ve way.
      4 sure! - Common sense has 2 prevail. Ditto a sense of humour. But using ur example...(& ignoring 'Sanitation Engineer' 4 a mo)..."Garbage Man"...is not that far from "worthless man"...(in connotation.)
      Wot he does is collect garbage. So the "PC" description in this example would be 2 call the guy a "Garbage Collector." | That's essentially all "PC" is.
      In this instance...a small change but making a HUGE difference.
      To the guy's self-esteem, 2 how others might c or think of him...(based on how Society describes him.) etc, etc.

    I had the worst and the best shopping experience with one Bulgari boutique in Seoul! The first SA who served me was actually the deputy manager of the boutique. I requested for a particular bag and she arranged it promptly but she kept pressuring me to purchase the bag as if I have no choice. We made an appointment beforehand but she forgot about it and was late to work. When I was looking at the bag she was very impatient, gave me fake smile and her tone was like “just pick one and pay now”. What really got me on my nerves was she has little knowledge on the bag but she corrected me when I mentioned something about the bag! I did my research beforehand and the information was even written on their official Instagram! I still remember it was a rainy day and all the other luxury boutiques were wrapping their customers’ shopping bags with an extra layer of transparent plastic but when I asked for a plastic cover, she told me they don’t have it. It was until I argued with her, mentioning about the rain, then only she asked her junior to get a plastic cover for me. It was just a normal piece of plastic cover for god’s sake!! Ahhh the whole experience was so terrible that I didn’t even know how to put it into words but I wrote down my honest comment when they sent me a customer feedback questionnaire after the purchase. Fast forward a few months later, she was transferred to another boutique so I’m so glad that I don’t have to see her again. Luckily the new deputy manager is an angel and the sweetest! She is helpful, kind and thoughtful. Thanks to her I was able to score a top handle serpenti forever in pink python leather which came in a very limited number across the globe. We still keep in touch once in a while and she’s the reason why I stick to their boutique💕

    Yay! You read my comment, absolutely love your channel romina, tbh... I'm terrified to go into the actual chanel boutique in Atlanta because i read the reviews and they are terrible when it comes to customer service. I completely understand having a bad day but if someone is super nice to me, even on a bad day (I've worked several customer service jobs in the past), i just can't bring myself to take it out on someone else who is kind. That being said, maybe some of these individuals arn't really outgoing nor a people person? It's just a job and they arn't passionate about the brand. When i went into dior, i was chatting with the SA and i was telling her all about other brands, leathers, etc. And she seemed to be suprised. She actually tried to snub Bvlgari serpenti bags and i really came at her with facts about the brand quality. My education is criminal justice, but i feel as though i would be a great SA LOL.     You are totally right! He should have at least, responded to your repeated texts. You did all of the work,and it looked like he couldn't be bothered. These brands forget why they ate doing well. if I have that experience anywhere,I would never give my business. Also, I would leather manager know that monsters are employed by them,and they should make this right.

    But, life is about balance.
    We need to remember to find the joy in today. And your videos bring that joy!
    I have never been to a luxury store or bought luxury items...I admire them from afar...and that is enough for me!

      To be honest there are many channels people could go to if they want to listen to current affairs, this is a fashion blog and not a political one. Life goes on many wars have been happening and are still happening. Were people complaining for people to stop making fashion blogs a year ago when there was war in Afghanistan? so why is now so different

    Luxury brands only hire people with their ‘look’ the amount of times I’ve been turned down from Louis Vuitton or prada when applying for a retail job, now to work at Zara and I’ve only been there three months but have had so many positive customer service reviews, even written submissions about how great my customer service was….

    They earn from commission .. their job is to service but they’re so damn impolite,impatient and rude.

    Hi Romina, I have been watching and enjoying all your recent uploads quietly. I love this kind of topics as much as your vlogs. In fact, this upload is watched and liked twice! When I was younger and saved hard for a bag (pre internet / youtube days), I made sure I only visited the store if I am 100% sure I was going to buy a specific bag. Back then, quality issues didn't exist (in my mind). I usually don't expect much from any SA nor thought of a relationship. Fast forward till today, the SAs from a few boutiques will send their festive greetings and I try to buy through them to support their efforts. I am still easily intimidated going into some stores but will mentally prepare myself when I converse with a "new" SA. Depending on the "chemistry" established in that few minutes, I'll decide if a relationship is "necessary". I must say in SG, it's manageable but when I do go to Europe, I do get butterflies entering most stores. If the SA is not enthusiastic, I'll walk away and go to another store another day 😅. You are just too nice, so reserve your support only for those who truly deserve your money 🤑. Happy weekend!

    I'm glad you addressed the 'current issues.' I'm still looking at the news daily and thinking about the best way to help people, but I'm VERY anxious at the moment and anxious by nature, and if I had to watch YT video after YT video about all the difficult stuff going on I don't know what I would do.

    This is my friend bad experience, but this story already happened many years ago. She work as a beauty advisor in a most luxury Mall Pavilion in Kuala Lumpur, one day she walk into a Gucci boutique during her rest time, she wanna take a look at Gucci belt, the SA saw her wearing uniform might think she is not willing to spend, the SA told her not to touch if you are no money to buy. My friend just quiet and leave the store, but after that she start to split the whole story to all of promoters in the mall. It become a hot topic between promoters in the mall, made Gucci SA very embarrassed.

    Well, so many things to say... lets start: first of all, I live in Brazil and yes, we have so many problems here, but that doesn't mean that we don't need to see beautiful bags, beautiful clothes. We need something that bring us some joy. So, its very sad what is happening in this world, but stopping living won't change anything. Second: some people have no education at all, and when these kind of people feel powerful, they mistreat other people for no reason. Don't let these people make you sad. You're so kind and have a beautiful soul!! 🥰

    I live in a city in Sicily that is Catania, during the summer I always go to Forte dei Marmi because my grandparents live there. In Forte you know there're the luxurious boutiques that exist and many times I see the display of all of this shop...but I never enter here because I feel judged every time because even if I can afford all that bags the Sales Associate judge you only because you don't wear anything of luxury and they treat you in a way that doesn't inspire you to buy anything! For example when I enter in that shops I do with my mother who doesn't care about luxury handbags...she has got the blue Tod's Cape bag in the medium size and other things (Ferragamo's sling, the Pomellato's necklace, earrings and the ring, the Tank Française of Cartier with the diamonds, and a pair of Stewart Weitzman shoes, and finally a D&G dress). One day me and my mum entered into Prada for checking to the novelties, and as soon as we were entering a SA looked us to see what we were wearing she looked us for a minute!!!! And then she deigned to us her word...I felt like I was considerate just because she saw that we're able to buy something...and if I entered here with my mum with all our clothes from Zara with a bag of H&M she would considered us??? I really don't know...they have to change these rules because I don't want to buy and I feel judged!!! From people that years before were like normal people!!! excuse me for this vent but when I hear all these stories I feel like I'm not the only one!!! Anyway really loooove all of your videos because you're so funny and so easy!!

    I have to say, some of the boutiques clearly have managers that encourage or at least don't correct rude behavior. I too have been to the Chanel at South Coast Plaza and they're just not massively welcoming, or at least the sales associates I have encountered aren't. Which is rich since it seems like they never have the item you're looking for in stock in which case a bit of apologetic politeness would go a long way and get me to keep checking back for restocks. Conversely, I was casually looking around the Celine boutique at the same mall and the sales associate was super apologetic about not having almost anything in stock, offered to take my information and let me know if the bag I was interested in comes back in stock and was very quick to say there was no pressure to buy if she does call me. She wasn't overly chummy in a fake way or anything, just so much more welcoming and helpful.

    I have to say all my experiences with my purchases of Louis Vuitton as well as Gucci bags has been very pleasant, the sales associates were patient with me and I left as a happy satisfied customer! I wanted to address the complaints you have been getting.     First of all, I really appreciate what you said at the beginning of your video. When I've been filming lately, I feel a bit trivial, but like you said, it's good to create content to help people escape a bit. ...Ew... how unacceptable to send the face palm emoji- especially after it was him who dropped the ball on securing the bag for you or at the very least having open communication about the process or trying to get the bag for you. One time at a boutique, I worked with an SA and bought a large amount of rtw and jewelry, but the next time I went in, he ignored me so I worked with someone else- fast forward a few months later, I'm back in the boutique and he's still mad that I made a large purchase with another SA, so when I asked for a belt from the back and gave him the specific size, he went out of his way to bring one out that was roughly 2-3 sizes too small to embarrass me and tell me how belt sizes work- I just made an exaggerated look at the size and just smirked at him when I handed it back. I may have rolled my eyes too 😬

    Hey! Thanks for the video! I’ve watched your other videos too. Been so busy at work that I haven’t had time to comment. Your story about ordering the bag was really interesting. Please do tell the other story too. Regarding the fact the person didn’t reply to you when you texted him first is strange. I think that he should have somehow confirmed that you were interested. I am very disappointed with the fact that someone would make fun of a person with disabilities. There really isn’t any scenario on earth in which that would be acceptable. I wouldn’t blame the brand. However, I don’t think that I’d visit that particular store again. I hope that you have a lovely week! P.S It’s nice to talk about something else other than the war.

    If I do not get Good Customer Service then I don't Shop there Again !! Bottom Line when I spend money I work hard for then I expect Great Service otherwise Everyone will Know I am not Happy Before I leave the Shop. I do not think because they are having a bad day is an excuse to be short or rude to anyone because I am not being rude to them.Customor Service is not a job you can have a bad day at you have to put your game face on and push ahead.I always smile even if my day is falling apart.because my job requires that so I just suck it up so they can too.Prada was my worst experience because the manager would not allow me to return a bag that I never used and with in the return time Limit.She also told me it was used and clearly it was not she was just on a power trip so needless to say I never shop there ever ! I sold the bag and got what I wanted at another shop !! Rude Manager Indeed !

    Lovely video today Romina. I completely agree with you, that emoji that the SA sent to you was rude. What was he honestly expecting from you? When he literally ghosted you. Fortunately, I’ve never had a bad experience in my limited shopping experiences at Gucci and Burberry. Mind you, I have not shopped in store in a couple of years now, I’m loving online shopping now, plus you do all the shopping for me 😊 so I already see how the bag looks and it’s quality.     Last year I went to Boucheron to try on rings, I wanted to gift myself a diamond serpent bohème for my birthday. They seriously asked me like 2 million very personnal questions, which amazed me quite a beat. It was almost experiencing an under arrest situation... 😵🤯🥵Then, they followed me everywhere in the store, that was kind of wierd and rude. In the end, the ring I wanted was to large for me, so I ordered my size. The Sa was supposed to call me the day after to let me know about the availability. Nobody NEVER called me. I understood that I wasn't taken seriously at all. It repelled me from the brand. 🥴💞💞💞💞

    Hi, Romina, I am a big fan of you and I am also a content creator. But with pain in heart I appreciate that we all can see a piece of normal life… I had an awful experience in LV boutique in Seoul, I just think they were affraid to work with foreign clients because they can’t speak English, that’s why SA just showed me a bags that I asked without any explanations, she couldn’t answer any questions, and if I did not know about LV bags - I could not buy the right one. And SA always texting someone and make such face 🙄 while I spoke to her… my husband saw it and interrupted into conversation and spoke with her without any smile because the atmosphere was ruined

    While some of these experiences were extremely disappointing behaviour from the SA’s the Dior story was down right disgusting! SMH! I find it interesting how different sales people treat you (no matter what shop) depending on how you’re dressed that day and how lovely and attentive they are when you’re dressed up 🙄

    To wonder if they ever go through training. Regardless if they may have stressful jobs it is not right for SAs to be rude. They behave as if they own the luxury store 😂😂😂. It is time the luxury stores do ratings for customer purchase experiences.
    The nasty attitudes need to come to a stop because it chases away customers that would love to go through the whole experience of the SA relationship , purchase and store experience.

    In addition to my love of luxury bags, I do love many custom-made bags that are offered on Etsy, with several coming from the Ukraine. All those stores are now closed, probably until this conflict comes to an end. I wonder, wouldn't it be great to pull together some handbag lovers on TH-cam to help support & promote these sellers when their stores are able to open back up? The pricing and quality is amazing, and many will make any custom changes that you request.

    That's why I really hate the whole "SA game" when it comes to luxury shopping. I mean, customers' experience shouldn't be based on some SA's daily changing moods. At that price point, everyone should be treated the same no matter how much they spend, or how they look like, the service should be exceptional for everyone, this is customer service and this is also what differentiates big fast fashion brands from luxury brands. When I purchased my first classic flap from Chanel, I got an SA who was lovely at first but then for the next purchases I wanted to make, she completely ghosted me (both on WhatsApp and in real life she was not even saying "Hi" to me) even though I kept buying bags and other goods at Chanel. Now I don't even bother with having a particular SA and just randomly pop out at the boutique when Want to get something and just ask anyone what they have.

    yes, the situation in the ukraine is very serious, shocking and suuuuper sad. its very disturbing and im very happy that i have the opportunity to get it of my head and watch some content here so i think its not wrong to make the regular videos because we all need a space to clear our mind out from all this horror that happens
    when it comes to the text messages from the SA-i would had reacted with „ähm excuse me? you didnt even felt the need to reply to my first message, completly ignored me for weeks and now you send me rude emojis? i will come to the boutique tommorow and lets have a chat together with your manager and see what he/she things about your rude behavior!“
    im to old for shit like this and i will never expect such unprofessional rude behavior towards me as a client. no matter if he had a bad day-if you cant switch and act professionally towards your next client than you have the wrong job. dont get me wrong-im very understanding and would not say anything very quick but enough is enough and i will not excepting face palms after beeing ghosted for weeks!

      @@RominaRoseMay yes, its very very questionable and super unprofessional. i have heard and experienced a lot of f..d up stuff when it comes to luxury shopping but this is something that clearly is unacceptable and i would definately let the store manager know about that. those SA‘s have to learn that they dont own the brand, neither are they one the side of the table that spend a ton of money there, that are the clients. as an SA you are nothing more than a regular retail person just in a different store so why do they act that they have millions on their bank account and are better than you that often? 🤮🤮

    The Dior story is heartbreaking, it’s unfortunately extremely common even if you walk into Zara the staff can be very rude and whisper/point if you are overweight. I find luxury boutiques so intimidating for these reasons, I’d rather shop online!

    I posted this on another forum last year, so for the sake of time I will copy and paste here. But let me add that I don’t blame the security guard for following the rules, but it definitely takes the glamour out of Luxury Shopping.
    The stand alone Chanel boutique in Union Square also has customers stand outside to wait, BUT they have a security guard outside with you, which gives at least the perception of safety.
    My bff were shopping in Union Square a few weeks ago; first Chanel at NM, then an appointment at the Chanel boutique, after that we headed over to DIOR. As we made our way over we passed several loud, seemingly angry homeless men, but as we approached the door of DIOR one of these men was in a full fledged rage; he was pushing a cart over-flowing with his belongings, and items kept falling off, which angered him greatly, and he was cursing loudly and seemed that he could possibly attack a passerby. I grew up in the Bay Area (Oakland), and don’t get panicked easily, but I realized this was a very real possible danger to encounter a mentally ill man in the middle of an angry tirade. But we made it the door of DIOR just in time, but it was locked. A security guard unlocked the door and asked if we had an appointment - we did not, so he informed us we would have to wait outside for a few minutes. I pointed out the angry, raging man approaching us, and asked if we could wait inside, he stuck his head out the door and looked at the man who was approaching, then ducked back in and said “sorry, I am not allowed to do that”. He then shut the door in our faces and locked the door back up. We obviously could not wait by ourselves with the angry, screaming, unstable man, so we quickly left.
    Bit it demonstrated the exact opposite of what luxury shopping is supposed to be. I understand the world has changed because of Covid, and occupancy rules have been put in place, but at least at Chanel there is a security guard standing OUTSIDE with you while you wait to be granted entry. Union Square is just not safe. Our last trip there a month before we were stepping over human feces on the street as well as many aggressive and seemingly mentally ill men hanging around. Not a police car in sight at any visit in recent memory..

    Romina! I know what you mean. I think that emojis are not suitable for business communication, simply because everyone uses them differently. I interpreted his emoji as "oh no, I effed up!" and not a reflection on you. It is rude of him not to write back "I apologize for my lack of communication but thrilled you are enjoying your bag" etc but certainly I don't believe he meant to insult you with his immature emoji. It's a reflection of his that his lack of customer care cost him a sale, more so considering this should have prompted him to start messaging you with upsale prompts. If anything this should get back to his manager since he needs more training.

I wonder after listening to all the bad experiences shoppers have in luxury shops - do you go to the manager? File a complaint with HQ? Is there any recourse?! Speaking as someone who also had a negative luxury boutique experience but just left humiliated. These shops are so intimidating!

    You tried to support the SA and he failed to communicate with you, then added insult to injury with a childish, passive-aggressive emoji. Not responding to his behavior will give him time to reflect on his own actions if he is so inclined. I really do not believe you owed him any notification that you purchased online. It's unfortunate and unnecessary on the SA's part. I like to wait a lengthy amount of time and then communicate to the store manger what happened and why I stopped shopping there for 3 or 4 months. Then the manager will feel the $$$ loss and may actually do something about this employee's behavior. Great video and you are so kind to mention the horror in the Ukraine.

    It's the SA problem anymore not yours,
    1. He/She did not response anything for 3 weeks.
    2. If he/she going to order the bag to boutique he/she should let you know if he/she's on the way to order it. He/She has a problem of lack of communication.

    Terrible situation but this my life. I cannot get an SA from Chanel to even text me. I bought my med classic flap last year. Text the same SA to buy some ready to wear. Nothing. The two other bags I bought I tried to text them. Nope. I live 3 hours away from the closest Chanel. So my husband and I are going tomorrow we’ll see how it goes. But yes I’m pretty used to this. I’m shocked when I get good service

    Honestly, THEIR LOSS! You did your part and they didn't. I would've blocked the SA and went on with my business. #notsorry I understand we should think about the SA's feelings, but they should be professional regardless. Some of us we rarely enter these high-end stores and to get stares and/or straight up avoidance is absurd! I didn't mess up your day and clearly you're working so the disrespect is unacceptable.

    I think it was very rude of the SA to send you that message. He has the right to feel disappointed about the los of a possible sale, but he does not have the right to be rude to you no matter what.
    I, in turn, have a positive story I would like to share with you. I love Chanel but I have never been to any of their stores because I am afraid of how they will receive me (this is in fact how I feel about most luxury brands). But last weekend I went to a Bvlgari store for the first time. I only went there because you have talked about their good customer service.
    The SA was really sweet and asked me if I worked in fashion. She told me that due to my knowledge of the brand I would be a good ambassador. I do not work in fashion (I'm a historian). I am however very passionate about bags. All I know about Bvlgari is what you have taught us in your vlogs. So the praise I got is really only thanks to you! Your knowledge of bags is so inspiring 🥰

    SA’s are getting worse. That’s disgusting behaviour you dealt with, I would have complained to a manager. Chanel SA’s in my experience have got less and less helpful and have missed out on many bags and earrings I’ve tried to get as they just didn’t help me.
