In Italy those bracelets were popular at least 15 years ago and I hated them cause they constantly ripped so hard my arm hair. To give you an idea the pain was similar to being poked with a needle. That's what we had to put up with in the name of "fashion" 💀
@@nora_bomberWell, it's been almost 30 years when those bracelets first started booming and when I saw them in this video my first thought was: oh, please, not again! 😂
I live in finland and we have these too, the thing about them is that most people get the charms individually like when it's their birthday and the charms represent something important to you or something about you. I, for example, have a heart that says sister which i got from my older brother, a cross from when i graduated confirmation school, my initials and an angel from my mom to protect me. That bracelet means the world to me
I had one of these as well (in Finland) but I couldn't stand it because it always pinched my skin so I just told everyone that don't get me anymore of these charms because I won't be using them and I about 10 years later gave the bracelet to my little sister because she loved it. I did like the idea of charm bracelet that you can switch the charms so I got another one that has metal chord that you slip the charms onto.
Nah you can’t just pretend these weren’t a thing in the early 2000s everywhere? I have one and I can still feel it pulling all my arm hair out when I look at it
I own 2 and I adore them both! One of mine is filled up with meaningfull charms, while the other is just random charms that came with it. I love how mixed metals look so I also have a few gold charms on a stainless steel bracelet. 😊😊 (once you wear it for a while you will figure out how to not pinch you skin, while putting it on)
I owned a fake composable watch as a kid! I had no idea this was the original. Now that I’m an adult, I’m putting this on the “treat myself” list, so I can live the nostalgia, probably better quality too. 😅 Thank you! 🙏🏽
Ma figurati, erano una moda 20 anni fa. È acciaio e costa un rene, li comprano solo i turisti. Per altro mi spacca che la ragazza dica che qua tutte le italiane ne portano almeno uno al polso. 😂😂😂😂😂

I hated wearing these as a kid because they always nip my skin or hairs on my forearms 😂. I didn't know they were originally Italian, these were everywhere in the 2000s
😂 We all had these in the 2000s in school. They are so fun I need to get my daughter one! Be warned though if you’re a hairy girly these don’t play nice!
This style of bracelet were trendy when I was a teen/tween. Maybe 14/15, years ago (here in Brazil). Girl, they rip off the little hairs of your arm and it hurts a looot lol Sometimes they pinch your skin.
My father got me one from Italy with my name on it. It was beautiful and I still have it but wearing it was tough. It hurt a lot and was also a little tight.
I'm italian, and those were popular a long time ago, and honestly, im not a big fan of them bc they pinch me constantly, and i have never seen a girl wear them

Oh God... I have one, I used to wear it when I was young, back in the early 2000s. I hated it, it would pinch my skin every time I moved it!
Right? I had one in 2005 or so. It was painful to wear. Maybe I should sell it now as a "vintage bracelet" 😅
This! I never wore mine
Agree ! I would never put one on again 😬

Early 2000s are back on trend
These were suuuper popular in the US in the 90s/ early 2000s
Everyone I knew had them around 2006/2007. You could buy charms for them at Walmart and Claire's lol
In germany we had them around 2009
Yeah I’m wondering if this type of bracelet was originally Italian or got adopted from somewhere else since I haven’t seen these since maybe 2007?
I had one as a kid! This unlocked a very old memory
@@moonmistmmit was created by an italian company.
