Aurora Borealis Alaska Hatcher Pass Greg Syverson November 2013 720p

November 9, 2013 the auroras borealis made an appearance over the mountains in located up at Hatcher Pass in Alaska. The display last through out the night. The clouds were a constant threat obscuring the view. The temperature with in the mid teens. Here is a time-lapse piece captured with a Canon 5D Mark3. A 10mm lens was used to capture the majority of the sky. Editing was done in Adobe Pro Premiere. Fotopro that makes tripods and Ball heads is my choice of equipment. We are currently testing the equipment in cold weather conditions. So far it has worked great with no issues. Keep checking back and wee the progress over the months to come.
