- Hey guys welcome back to the channel! We are doing some indoor karting this week at Speed Raceway in Cinnaminson New Jersey. I don't typically do a lot of indoor racing, most of the videos on the channel so far have been karting at CalSpeed where we race 4 stroke karts. In this weeks video we make A LOT of contact and end up setting some great lap times!

With rental karts always ask the marshals to wave you through. Not everyone on the track is fast and it's hard to be aware of what's going on behind you. You should have lifted on the first contact and not tried to squeeze through.

Hi quinn! I've been watching your videos for a bit And I really enjoy the commentary you do on your races. I'm from New Jersey and when this video came out I almost shit myself. That track you went to was right down the street from me. So I took it as a challenge and I went to tonight's all you can drive and I just edged out your time by about a tenth! Wish I could have caught the chance to drive with you :)

At my home town we have a karting place named speedeezz indoor karting and ive been going there for a while and they have a great facility! Your should come to Cedar Rapids iowa and try out this track

I’d love to get in to go karting. It’s a shame it’s a really expensive sport.
If you start with indoor rentals it can be very affordable. At this place it’s 49 for your first for races and then 11 for every race after that. They each last about ten minutes

Yea I’ve raced on this track so much and every single time the issue is I can’t pass anyone due to the track being so narrow.

Nice footage. What's your camera setup like? Which camera and where/how is it mounted on your helmet? Also, you probably realized that you can't rotate these like gas karts, it's more of a slow in, fast out approach. Partial throttle through the corners does wonders.
I use a go pro Max that I mount just behind the top of my helmet. The 360 camera gives you a lot of freedom choosing the framing later. These karts definitely didn't rotate the way I am used to 😂 it took a few laps to get up to speed but once I got the hang of it they were a blast!
@@quinnallen-riley8565 Interesting... I might switch up my setup then. I've been using a side-mounted Hero for my karting footage but when I'm leading, front facing video is pretty boring lol. What are you using to edit? Premiere?
@@ZuluWun I would definitely recommend the change, it’s really awesome to be able to see everything that happened around you, and great for when you are leading. The footage is a little more work to edit but super worth it!

Yeah from my perspective I looks really hard to make it past people with the smaller turns and corners or I should say tighter

I wanna try doing pocket bike racing I got my bike it's not the fastest 20kmph but if I were to change the chain size and engine it should go faster

Honestly, that looks more like bad track design than anything else. You’re faster, but you’re also making silly, risky moves on a track that doesn’t have the space.
