Anytime you wear red near a beehive it means anger and bees will attack you. You wear red in front of a turkey. It means angry and they will come after you. That’s why you’re having a problem with that guy. I worked at a turkey farm and every time somebody wore red, those birds got very upset😂😂❤❤❤
Good to hear from you Sean. Merry Christmas to you and your family too. Yes ,not wear red around turkeys, they think it's another gobbler after their hens.
Our church had a beautiful Christmas Eve service last night! Then today, we had our son and two of our three grand kids over for ham and fixin’s at 2. So nice to get together with the kids. Very warm feeling.
I don’t remember the wall, but I would use a metal detector in the cave because if that was used for shelter then there is no telling what was left behind!! Merry Christmas Dutch and family!
Wrong. Jesus was not born on December 25. While the Bible does not give an exact date for His birth, John Reid, in the Forerunner article, "When Was Jesus Born?" tells us that the Bible leaves clues that point to His actual birth date. The article provides a method of calculation starting with John the Baptist's father, Zacharias. Based on when Zacharias would have served in the Temple during his priestly course, John the Baptist's birth would have occurred in the latter half of March. Since he was six months older than Jesus (Luke 1:32), we can extrapolate that Jesus would have been born in the second half of September, around the fall holy days. Lawrence Kelemen, a Jew, brings up several points about the problems people face when they attempt to justify their keeping of the holiday. He affirms that the Bible does not list the actual day of Jesus' birth anywhere. He infers that, since Mark, the earliest gospel (written a half-century after Jesus' birth) begins with the baptism of Jesus as an adult, first-century Christians cared little about His birthday. The roots of Christmas are found in Saturnalia. Pagans in Rome celebrated this weeklong period of bedlam and lawlessness between December 17-25. During this period of anarchy, no one could be punished for their vandalism and mayhem. An "enemy of the Roman people" was chosen to represent the "Lord of Misrule." Each community selected a victim and forced him to gorge himself on food and other indulgences throughout the week. On the last day of the festival, December 25, they took vengeance against the forces of darkness by brutally murdering this victim. Kelemen writes that besides this human sacrifice, there was widespread drunkenness, public nudity, rape, and other forms of sexual license. After Constantine converted to Catholicism, many pagans followed him once they were allowed to maintain their celebration of Saturnalia. They solved the problem of Saturnalia having nothing to do with Christianity by declaring December 25 to be Jesus' birthday, replacing the celebration of the birth of Sol Invictus (the Invincible Sun), but little changed in practice. These practices are blatant violations of God's command in Deuteronomy 12:30-31. Many of the trappings of Christmas are directly imported from paganism. For instance, the Catholic Church shamelessly welcomed the pagan tree worshippers into their fellowship. They simply called their trees "Christmas trees." Mistletoe is another example of such syncretism. The ancient Druids used its supposed mystical powers to ward off evil spirits and bring good luck. In ancient Norse mythology, mistletoe was used to symbolize love and friendship. The custom of kissing under the mistletoe is a later blending of the sexual license of Saturnalia with Druidic practice. The Catholic Church says that the practice of gift-giving was begun by an early bishop, Nicholas, who died in AD 345 and made a saint in the 1800s. Nicholas was a senior bishop who convened the Council of Nicaea in 325. Some 750 years later, a group of sailors who idolized him moved his bones from Turkey to Italy, where he supplanted a favor-granting deity called the Grandmother, who used to fill children's stockings with gifts. In his honor, his followers would give each other gifts on the anniversary of his death, December 6. From there, his cult spread to the German and Celtic pagans. Many of them worshipped Woden, who wore a long, white beard and rode a horse through the heavens each fall. Through the process of syncretism, Nicholas and Woden were combined. Nicholas now sported a beard, rode a flying horse, wore winter clothes to battle the elements, and took his trip in the last month of the year instead of in the fall. As it evangelized in Northern Europe, Catholicism absorbed the Nicholas cult and persuaded its adherents to give gifts on December 25 instead of December 6. In 1809, novelist Washington Irving satirically wrote of this Saint Nicolas using his Dutch name, Santa Claus. Thirteen years later, Clement Moore wrote a poem based on this Santa Claus, The Night before Christmas. The poem incorporated the giving of gifts, added his descent down the chimney, and replaced the horse with a sleigh and eight reindeer. Our modern image of Santa Claus was provided by a Bavarian cartoonist, Thomas Nast, who drew over 2000 pictures in the late nineteenth century for Harper's Weekly. Before Nast's cartoon, Saint Nicholas had been depicted as "everything from a stern looking bishop to a gnome-like figure in a frock." Nast provided many of the traditional details: He gave him a home at the North Pole and a workshop with elves who made toys. The creation of Santa was completed in 1931 when the Coca-Cola Corporation developed a marketing campaign for a Coke-drinking Santa. Swedish commercial artist Haddon Sundblom modeled a chubby Santa, dressed in a bright Coca-Cola red outfit. Kelemen states, "[The modern] Santa was born-a blend of Christian crusader, pagan god, and commercial idol." December 25 has traditionally been the day when pagans marked the winter solstice, the shortest day of the year. It is a day venerated every year by worshippers of the sun god. Egyptians celebrated Horus' birthday on December 25. Other cultures also worshipped their gods on this day: the Mesopotamians, the ancient Greeks, and the Persians. Winter solstice traditions stretch back long before Jesus Christ entered the world. Christmas is all about commercialism. Many people struggle with low wages and debt, yet they spend hundreds of dollars to buy Christmas gifts. The average American family will spend $882 this year on Christmas presents. An article in US News and World Report, "Commercialism Only Adds to Joy of the Holidays," avers that Christmas is a spiritual holiday whose main theme is personal, selfish pleasure and joy, claiming that the season's commercialism is integral to it. The article cites Ayn Rand, who said that Christmas' best aspect has been its commercialization: "The Christmas trees, the winking lights, the glittering colors . . . provide the city with a spectacular display, which only 'commercial greed' could afford to give us. One would have to be terribly depressed to resist the wonderful gaiety of that spectacle." This supposed worship of Christ is based on falsehoods. From rebranding pagan sun worship as worship of the Son of God to people telling their children that Santa will withhold their presents if they are not good, everything is a fabrication. Try as they might, people cannot make the unclean clean or the unholy holy.
Merry Christmas, Sean, Brandy, Hadleigh, Hayden, and Hopeeee. Love ❤️ all the animals and the content you publish. Both properties are beautiful and allow me to learn and experience nature along with you all.
If you haven't any idea if people are coming on your property, especially around your trailer and side by side just take a couple of pictures of the area before you go. When you come back in a few days time you can always bring up those pictures as reference as to whether things have been moved or not. Game cameras to me aren't reliable enough.
Merry Christmas to the Dutch family. I hope you enjoyed your day with all the kids. Grandkids, whatever you have over today. Now it seems like you're getting a brick going through the property. A little bit those people gonna have to stay off. Your property no trespassing means no transpassing you can really get Them in trouble
Merry Christmas to you, Brandy and the girls. I hope you all had a great day. Shawn, thank you for taking us along to the creek property. Blessings to you all. ❤
If you have any medication bottles from the pharmacy, small size, should be the right size to go over your flash suppressor to keep the rain out. Might have to modify it a little.
Truly enjoy watching your videos. Thanks so much for sharing. It’s great to just ride along with you and see what’s happening. Really interesting. Well Done! 😊
It is the red plaid color on your shirt plus the hood up , he thinks you are another big male turkey. I love that bigger cave system. You could ask your hunting buddies if one of the kids stacked those rocks for a sort of blind during hunting season? A good spot to be out of the weather, as long as not occupied by snakes, or other critters.
Merry Christmas to you and your family Sean. And hopefully you will be able to get someone to help you build a hog trap. And I will head over to Lester channel and congratulate him for his channel. And thank you for your updates on what's going on.
A turkeys head turns colors to what its feeling! Red meaning aggressive and white meaning passive or blue and white combo meaning like breeding mood or calm.
Hey Dutch wished you & the family had a Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄 & yes I thank the good lord everyday my feet hit the floor in the morning. I don't have much but I am blessed more than a rich man. Some of us take things for granted but at any given time you can lose it all. GB y'all stay safe & take care 😊
Dutch, Daniel Arms has a hog trap. Those hogs are smart. Sometimes hard to catch in a box trap. Might need to borrow Daniels or get one like his. David Ellis aka YawtYawt traps hogs here in MS.
I said before. There is a TH-camr called outdoors with Casey. I will check to make sure that’s correct. But he has no arms and he builds his own hog traps and catches them. If he can do it with no arms. You can do it. Watch his hog trapping vids. His traps are simple and portable 🤷♂️🤷♂️. Merry Christmas everyone Yes “ outdoors with Casey “
I love those 2 "yard art" white turkeys. But it's sad about the one eyed one that's been killed. It's good to have aggressive birds (if they don't close your eyes out) because it keeps the other poultry safer from predators. Hope everyone had a merry Christmas have a pen and paper ready it's time to make those self promises.
21:38 I don’t know the cost but what about getting the starlink satellite, it’s 600 on Amazon just for equipment. Would that even be feasible? Or do you know anyone who could let you rent there’s for a couple months, then a trap like Daniel’s would be perfect. I think.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to You Sean, Brandi, Hope Hadley and Hayden. And to all of your viewers. We are Blessed to have Jesus Christ be born to Save God's Children. God Bless
Don't know if you still need this, but get a few T posts and cattle panels, and rig up a round pen trap...you can do it for a lot less than a small trap and catch a lot more than a little trap will...possibly the whole herd

In 2 hours I made a simple round pen using 3 16ft long cattle panels and T post about every 4ft apart(but on each joint) on the outside of the panels and a strong metal wire insert door(I already had) and a screen door spring, trip wire. I already had all these things). Caught alot of wild hogs over a few months. Guess I caught all in my area because I have seen no sign in over 3 years.
My sis lives close to Arbuckle Lake. She saw timber rattlesnakes last summer. Probly there in your area as well. I'd always ware my boots . Lol 🤣 They all blend in so well.
There was a gentleman that had a similar problem. He posted it did all the necessary preparations. He posted a video on TH-cam of a paintball mine with cellular game camera in video. Guy was covered in blue marker paint. His gun ,his face and his camo suit were blue.
I know that years ago Buc-ee's sold hog traps. You may give them a call. I looked at what they had and went home and built my own. They were 4x8. Just a thought
That's what you call a headless buck. Keep up the good videos, Dutch God bless to you and your family. Be safe at all times Merry Christmas from Ken in Pennsylvania.
Remember the kid you sold that property to & he moved up from Texas & built a tiny house on it & sold it ? Go back in his videos from Texas & check out the hog trap he was using on his grandmother's property where he & his girlfriend were staying. It was during the time they were looking for their goats that got loose.
Sorry I missed you yesterday but wasn't feeling good at all. Feeling somewhat better today not good enough to run a marathon but better. God bless you from Michigan ❤️
I don't know if you want to hear this, but southern rattle snakes are evolving not to rattle. It's because of the wild hog problem down south. The snakes were rattling at the hogs and the hogs would eat them. The next step will be them being born without the ability to produce rattles. Good luck with the hogs. Thanks for sharing.
Merry Christmas Dutch, Family & All…pray everyone had a wonderful day!
