- I had the great pleasure to get up close and personal with the hi-fi system of a fellow stereo enthusiast today. I hope it transspires through the recorded audio how beautifully this set of carefully selected, well preserved and meticulously serviced mostly vintage equipment reproduced music. You can't see it in the vid, but the room was also professionally prepared for a optimal listening experience. I can confidently say the most demanding audiophile would definitely appreciate the lifelike and balanced performance. Once again - it was pure pleasure - many thanks for the invitation! Enjoy!
I owned these for several years in the 70's and the dynamic slam in the bass and mid bass was something I would never forget

These JBL's sound better than your studio monitors. Don't get me wrong. Those are beautiful speakers , but they're lacking something. Maybe some clearer mids.

Two flaws are apparent as far as design is concerned.
Why is it that audiophiles always listen to boring, uninspiring music? Why not Innuendo by Queen, Brothers In Arms by Dire Straits or In The Air Tonight by Phil Collins? Or is that too mundane for the snobs?
One thing that always baffles me about "audiophiles" is their propensity to put THE most expensive electronic gear ON THE FLOOR! What-the-HeLL, why-the-HeLL?
